More Ideas on How to Use This Social Strategy

Published: Sat, 05/12/18

Tomorrow is mother's day. I'm just still kind of here, not ready to get up and do anything, so my mom's bringing some sliders and potato salad over and we're doing dessert. Uneventful, but I figure I'll just enjoy the family vacation this summer with my babies as my Mother's Day instead.

I was thinking after talking back and forth with some of you via email and I wanted to share my thoughts on using the free social strategy that I showed you here:

Now in their course, it's really shown to work for either your own products or for affiliate products.

But how else can you use this strategy?

One way is to build your list. Your goal is to get the engagement using their strategy, but what you send them to could be a wide variety of things. Things that show a lot of value.

For example:

1. Try having a private blog post where you provide them really good information, maybe a case study or step-by-step tutorial - and in the file you send them, link to the post and give them password access to it. You can promote things inside the post to profit from it OR just have an opt in form below the post to get them on your list.

2. You could have a private squeeze page somewhere where your engagement post is about downloading a free report that's exclusive to those who engage with your post. Make it highly valuable (remember, even if you don't want to create something, you can buy a $1 per page PLR report and use that).

3. Create a free course like Travis Sago did with Bum Marketing, and lead them to that to build your list. I remember how impressed everyone was with Bum Marketing (rightly so). He made bank off the list he built from it.

People were asking me if it could be used in other niches. So they teach you about building that friends' list, right? The one right for this type of engagement. I would use groups and friend the people in those groups. Have regular posts in between these engagement posts. Then yes, you can do the same thing - make it a casual "Hey if anyone wants _____, just type "I do!" in the comments and I'll send it to you via PM."

You could use this in all sorts of niches. And it might even work better just because those average consumers aren't used to marketing tactics, so they'll see it as more natural.

Again, the bonus info Bill Hugall let me give y'all in addition to the 4 bonuses already in there was very cool. This strategy is especially beneficial for newbies with no list and no site yet. Just gets you started with no cost.

Let me also point something out, though about those using this for the make money online niche. People often scoff at those who get into the mmo niche. Let me tell you why they do it. Because as you learn, you can share what you learn and share those links. Others who haven't learned as much as you have will appreciate being directed to the links of products or courses that helped YOU make progress. That's how I got my start. I wasn't in the MMO niche initially.

I was in the wedding niche. But I started sharing what I was learning and noticed sales coming in for IM products I recommended. So why NOT have that extra income on the side? I mean, you're taking action and applying it and sharing it - so it's a good thing. People who claim marketers aren't ever in other niches are 110% wrong. I ghostwrote for the top marketers and every single one of them were in non IM niches like child modeling info courses and health courses and all kinds of stuff - the fact that they made additional money sharing links to what taught them how to succeed in those niches was great!

So if you DO use a strategy like this, don't feel like you can't use it in the marketing niche just because you don't have a "blog" about that topic. You don't need one. All you need is camaraderie.

But again, check things out. Don't soil your reputation by recommending anything blindly. Read it or watch the videos and know what you're sending people to. To do otherwise is unethical.

This is most likely ending soon, so watch my video about it and then head over and grab it with the 8 bonuses.

By the way:

Monday JR Lang is releasing a personal development mega pack and I've created a Big, brand new BONUS to go with it. Stay tuned for that!
