Site Organization Profit Tip, PLR Usage Training I Got & Recommend

Published: Fri, 05/25/18

It's the first day of summer and yes, many of you DID read my last email in Alice Cooper's voice. I knew I had some fellow headbangers on here! I'm working hard today and man it felt incredible to sleep in with no alarm clock. Really, life should be like this all the time. Wouldn't that be great? No deadlines or schedules - just go at your own pace.

Well there's lots of panic today about that whole EU compliance mess. I want to vomit every time I read about it. Tons of emails asking me what I'm doing. I already blogged about it and if you want to see my "policies" page, you can visit my blog and click on the link at the top but I'm not buying any special plugins for it or hiring a top law firm to protect me. Nope. I basically feel like, if I help you, stay on my list - if I don't, that's what the unsubscribe link is for. Such panic over nothing.

And our inboxes are flooded with messages about it, aren't they? I thought it was funny the memes going around like, *Opens a box of cereal...* "We've updated our privacy policies." Seriously, that's what it feels like. LOL!

Site Organization Profit Tips

Okay let's move on to some REAL stuff. During my help with people's sites, one problem I see is that their main dot com page is really confusing in terms of organization. I land on some peoples' sites and I am LOST - no clue where I should go or anything and this is a big problem.

I personally like to plop the blog right on the main page. Then if I have other stuff, like pages or stores, I put those on page tabs at the top. The reason for this is, if someone books my main dot com page and visits periodically, I want them seeing fresh content, not the same thing where they have to try to navigate to find blog posts or whatever.

So what I would do is this:

1. Put your blog on the main site - like yourdomain.com (don't put it on /blog).
2. Have your pages at the top - like About, Contact, Policies, Products, etc.
3. If you want a store for profits, then have a separate store area.

Profit-wise, you can use all three of these areas for money generation. Use your blog for things like reviews and text links and even banner ads for things you want to recommend.

Use your page area for products that you either created yourself or recommendations. Like I'll usually have an area for tools that I recommend, like Aweber, Hostgator, and so on - and I use my affiliate link for those. But I'll also have a list of my own products (until I retire them), like my challenges, my PLR store and so on.

On some non IM sites, I'll do a store. If you want to, you can do a store two different ways. I usually do written reviews, but sometimes I'll use a plugin to quickly schedule posts to release onto my site. So you could have a store blog listed at yourdomain.com/store or /shop or whatever - and then use a tool like ShopAzon (which gives you Amazon on the FE but if you upgrade, you get to add Walmart, Commission Junction, eBay, and AliExpress) to quickly populate the store with relevant items. You can go in and edit those to add your voice for a more personal review, or leave it as is.

What I recommend you do is visit your main domain and think of it from a consumer point of view. YOU know your navigation, but would they? What if they wanted to see your latest post - is it easy to find or would they be "blind" from all the options to click on? You want a nice, clean layout with easy navigation.

PLR Usage Training I'm Taking and Recommend

When it comes to PLR, I'm not just a seller - I'm a buyer for my niche sites. It's great! Why NOT use readymade content? Well, some people don't understand PLR - or if they know what it is, they don't grasp how to make money from it once they buy it.

I bought training by Barry Rodgers today for under $11 that is INCREDIBLE. It's a set of thorough video training and he's a great teacher for this topic.

What I loved most is that he not only gives examples and insight with you, but he has his own unique take on PLR usage and recommendations. I love hearing different points of view. This is one of the best PLR usage courses I've ever taken.

I did NOT grab the upgrades but I got the FE and it's so worth it. Here's the link:

There's only one thing I disagree with him on. He is very specific about saying that the best PLR is only from one specific group - but I disagree because quality isn't based on the reason he gives - it's based on the individual person's talent, and I know this as a buyer, not just a seller. :) But other than that, extremely good course!

Make sure you strongly consider video #10, too. This could be SO profitable for you - and it's something MOST PLR buyers don't do - they don't even know to do this. Makes competition extremely low and your profit potential extremely high - in Non IM niches.

Okay I'm off to get cracking on work. I'm about to start the Solo Ad Email section of Contentaire if you're in that implementation, so check back this evening for that.

Tiff ;)
