Neat Self Competition Niche (Let's Analyze), JVZ Member Bonus Updated

Published: Sun, 09/23/18

I did some more planning for my upcoming NYC trip last night. One thing I really want to see is St. Patrick's cathedral. I've never seen anything like that. I guess I'm just staying in Manhattan - looks like there's plenty to do and see there. I need to get my Broadway tickets soon because it looks like that stuff sells out pretty far ahead. The kids want to see Mean Girls on Broadway. Looks funny to me.

So let's talk about a self-competition niche.

My son was (and is) a consumer in this niche and I know many people who are. I have to laugh whenever I think of this niche because I picture Forrest Gump. Remember when he started running and he ran a long, long time?

Well running and improving speed is one of those feel-good achievements many people go after. Anyone can do it, anywhere and it costs nothing. Well, sort of. The activity costs nothing, but they do end up buying info products, athletic gear, niche-specific clothing (I just bought my son some $200+ shoes for it), and of course, spa treatment, healing products because it can be tough on your body. There are even special dietary programs for runners. Some grab things like weighted clothing (vests, and so on).

And the products they do buy and love, they go through over and over again. You get a lot of repeat business.

People pursue running for a release of endorphins, to lose weight, to get some clear-headed, nature-filled moments, etc. They can set a goal of time or distance or endurance and see if they can achieve it. They're constantly leveling up.

There are techniques for running. Who knew? I'd just get going. But no, runners know there are different ways to run. Some people train for marathons. Some for timed sprint competitions. You can even pair this niche with travel and recommend all sorts of running events to your audience.

You could target women runners or men runners, student runners or senior runners. You can promote just running shoes or a wide variety of courses and products. You could niche it down to runners with flat feet or runners with high arches. You can be the go to person for problems that develop for runners, like Plantar Fasciitis, sprains, shin splints and a ton more. If you're that go to person, then you could get an available domain like RunningProblems.com (yes, it's available) and address all the health and even mindset issues - weather, too - that they face.

And of course, with that approach, you'll need to also share your recommendations for tangible products and courses that teach form and strategy to prevent injury and help them achieve their goals, right?

This is a great niche with dual profit potential - meaning tangible and digital sales potential. It's also a hungry niche with wide appeal of topics (stress relief, health, pleasure, travel, etc.).

Rick Warid came out with a new PLR bundle on Sprinting that will be perfect for it - and it's on sale right now starting at $7 on a dimesale for the entire bundle here:

In it, he includes: He has a great upgrade option that includes: When you grab it, go over to Amazon and type in Sprinting Equipment. Look at what all people are buying - the sled weight trainers, resistance bands, parachute trainers, and more. Some of this stuff has a great affiliate price point for commissions!

You could easily get into this niche yourself. Whether hands off or hands on - even as a beginner, you could do a site like BeginnersRunningPlan.com (it's available) and share your own beginner's journey with them. People love that! Show how you level up in equipment and gear and strategy and share knowledge you gain, and so on.

Or, if you're already in a niche like stress relief, health, weight loss, etc., then you could put Rick's Sprinting PLR to use to help your existing audience learn how to focus on a goal and achieve it to feel good and get in better shape.
