Such Appalling Ethics, Awesome JVZoo Tool, Target These Narrow Groups

Published: Thu, 10/25/18

I'm going out today to not be a hermit. Volunteering for a political campaign and I'm nervous. Scarlett asked to go with me, so because her grades are perfect, I said okay. Wish the sun would come out because there's standing water ALL over the place here.

Such Appalling Ethics

So get this... some guy (I can't even pronounce his name and I only heard it on a video) had a launch and it included a contest and it had amazing prizes. Tons of people promoted and then didn't get paid.

Why?

Well because BELOW the prize money listings, in teeny, tiny print, he had a VERY specific phrase in his minimums clause that screwed everyone over. Most vendors have minimums, like "1st prize - minimum of 100 sales" or whatever. But what THIS lovely person did was add the phrase "to win ANY cash prize" in it.

So that meant even if the top affiliate sold 99 items, they wouldn't even be able to claim a 6th place prize. REALLY!? What a nasty person. For someone like me who doesn't specifically target contests, I'd chalk it up to a lesson learned on who not to promote. But some of these people make their living off of contest earnings, and to work hard to promote you and you yank the rug out from under them is so wrong on many levels.

Don't be like that. Be the kind of person who says, "Hey you were only 8 away from first prize, so I'm giving it to you anyway." KEEP your affiliates happy. Of course one of his top affiliates is now naming and shaming him, deservedly so. What's worse? He's doubling down on the fact that he thinks he's right. LOL

For ANYONE Promoting on JVZoo

I love this! There's a lot of information we can't get in one place on JVZoo. Or at all. Sometimes you have to contact vendors to find out info and it's a nightmare.

Kevin Fahey just created an incredible product that gives you a dashboard with so much information you can use to not only manage your business on JVZoo, but to also give you opportunities to further your sales.

He has it on a short sale here and it's called iDasho Extractor - watch the demo here:

You get to segment your buyers and learn their needs so you're promoting what's best for them.

QuickBooks PLR Training (Target These Narrow Groups)

So many people I know use this. I have to have a CPA for my corporation, but it I could figure it out on my own, I would! Quickbooks is used by about 85% of small business owners, so there's a HUGE market for it (and you can promote the Quickbooks product on Amazon, too).

Charles Harper did a 20-part series with video training and it has all of his usual biz in a box elements like sales copy, graphics, etc., so you can turn around and sell it as a course.

Tiff's Tip: Slant your product for specific people. I saw searches like Quickbooks for real estate agents, for jewelers, truckers, teachers, and more. Just tweak it for that audience and you should be able to rank high and target their needs specifically.

Okay I'm off to volunteer - ACK! I'm such a shy person in person. LOL

Tiff ;)
