It's the first day back to school for my daughter which means I'm hurting with the 6 AM alarm going off. But I'll power through because I do NOT want to succumb to the allure of naps. It's hard to break out of that habit.

Many of y'all were on my list last year (I think it was) when I did that case study of a case study by David Perdew - it's where he had sold a case study and I implemented his case study and raked in some good money. His stuff - insight, courses, tools and more - are upper level quality and not just because they work, but because they're easy to understand and use for beginners.

He just told me about a new swipe bundle with 427 affiliate emails he packaged up to promote 80 different items and he's selling it for under $10! Remember my profit review of Email Carte? That wasn't David's, but it's a similar concept - only instead of email promotion templates, these are swipes - done for you already - and they're VERY well written. 

David has a knack for dominating leaderboards and it's based on how he chooses products (ethically) and how he crafts the copy to promote them, so I'm glad he's selling this - it's something we can all learn from, not just use as a cut and paste tool.

I always advise y'all to start a blog for IM even if you don't plan on it being your niche - just to document your efforts and profit on the side while you do it. This is awesome for that purpose. You can promote some fantastic products and reputable vendors using this pack. 

I love how he jerks the reader's attention with things like "The sales page is a mess." When you read that swipe, you'll understand how and why he said it - and how it works to help convert the sale. David is smart. And he's a master of urgency, too. THAT I love with these swipe emails. 

Navigation Is Crucial for All Involved

Recently, we were discussing questions people submitted and one of the sites I'd reviewed for a subscriber had some navigation problems - primarily for buyers and affiliates. Well this very problem happened to me this week, so I wanted to share a real life example. 

The product I had promoted was on a page where there was a link to the rest of the site - the blog, home page, etc. Normally, I don't promote products with this type of navigation. I only promote sales pages where the only options are the buy button or to click and exit out, period. 

So a customer of mine ended up clicking on another part of the site, ended up getting on the person's list and buying through their link that got mailed out. Now, luckily, this vendor is ethical (one of the reasons I try to only promote people who I know have their moral compass intact). The customer contacted me wanting to make sure I got credit so they could claim their bonus. So the vendor is correcting the issue and crediting my account. 

But you see the problem ... you can't rely on customers to alert you, so you end up feeding other people your list and losing sales. Also, the customer ends up having to do more work to find out how to claim their bonus, and you end up having to do more work, too. Make sure as a vendor that you always place sales copy on a page without links to your blog, home page, and other areas of your site. NO link leakage!
