Twist Slant Idea - and the Believe and Achieve Concept

Published: Sun, 11/04/18

Last night Scarlett dug out some Christmas decor and we started putting it up. I got a little sad, unfortunately, when we started talking about the Christmas tree and how we always traditionally make a family outing of it the day after Thanksgiving. That's the same day my dad passed away last year, so I hate that I'll be sad every time now. I wondered if we ought to do it the day before Thanksgiving, but we decided to keep it as is since it's important to my daughter not to dismantle her tradition and she suggested we do something to honor my dad, like hang the ornament I got for him last year in his memory as soon as we get the tree home. So we'll do that.

Twist Slant Idea

Friday night, I spent some time in Barnes and Noble while waiting for the football game to end that my daughter was at and I saw so many amazing slanted journals and I LOVE journals for so many different areas of my life. I've used them for travel, weight loss, relationships, stress relief, success strategizing and more. They're really very versatile but many people hear the word journaling and simply think it's a diary for what you did that day.

I did some keyword research and people are looking for ideas on how to journal for depression, for better sleep, for athletic improvements, for creativity, for your baby to be, for hiking, and so many other reasons. They want so many different styles, too - got or grid journals, leather, blank pages, ones with elephants on them, ones with quotes - you name it. I think a journaling site where you teach tips and give prompts and quotes and also recommend ones to buy (as an affiliate and ones you easily design) would go over great!

Piggy Makes Bank has a PLR sale today only on this topic of journaling. Their pack includes articles, emails and social media posts.

Use the coupon code THANKYOU at checkout for 50% off here:

To Believe Is to Achieve

I read this quote along with the phrase "bridge the gap" on Rick Warid's site and it really struck me as correct - especially since I'm struggling with that right now with my fiction. I've had trouble believing in myself, so it's difficult for me to take steps to achieve anything.

I finally read something this weekend about how important it is to do your own thing so I decided to let go of my fear and do the entire soup to nuts process - idea to post publishing promotions - MY way. I'll see what happens. The worst that can happen is it flops under this pen name and I move on to another one and try something else. But it's like that saying that goes, "What if I fall?" and the answer says, "Oh, but darling, what if you fly?"

I'm hoping I'll fly but I have to REALLY work hard on believing in myself.

Rick's site, by the way, is where he's selling his "bridging the gap" self help PLR that includes: https://jvz3.com/c/5810/317895

I'm going to get organized today and get ready for my schedule to resume on Monday. Lots to get caught up on!
