Little Tip for You, 12 Month Marketing Calendar I Just Bought, Brainstorm Part 10
Published: Wed, 12/12/18
I'm laughing at a memory that came up on Facebook today. It was from years ago when my daughter sat there thinking about something and she said, "You know, Mom... nobody ever talks about Mary at Christmastime. I mean, she's the one who HAD baby Jesus, but nobody talks much about her. Why don't they give Mary a whirl for a change?"
LOL! From the mouths of babes. She's so sweet wanting to make sure Mary got the thoughtfulness and credit she deserved in life. I told her as I read it back to her today that I'll bet God was smiling when she said that. She cringes at those memories, but I think they're precious because they're so pure and kind.
Okay let's dig in:

#2 - Little Tip for You
I had a reader contact me awhile back about something I corresponded directly with them about, but I thought I'd share an example for you. They weren't in the cooking niche, but were curious how people could take recipes and pictures and profit from them in any way. (They were asking because of a cooking PLR launch at the time). So let me show how it's done:
First, you see some sort of PLR on cooking like Trish's deal for today on "warm weather favorites." Go take a look at the listings.
I immediately think of what's used to make those dishes - vegetable gadgets, spices, various blenders and cookers and bakeware - all of those can be linked to as you list these recipes.
I would slant them in a way like, "Favorite Chilled Soup I Make with My New Handheld Blender" and I would do the post where I'm gushing about the handheld gadget, discussing its features and then share it in action - with her pictures and step-by-step recipes. I would link everything in the post that could be linked. So those cute little cocktail glasses or dishware in the posts? I'd go find those, too and discuss how I'm serving it in that. (Or could serve it - don't lie, just paint the story of what you would do or are doing).
If there were spices or herbs used in the dish's recipe, I'd find a pack of it on Amazon - they have some cool spice stuff on there - and what about spice racks? You could mention that, too. Make it all very casual in nature.

Okay I think I'm off to make some tomato gravy and rice. Ever had that? Get a frying pan out and melt 4 beef bouillon cubes in about a tablespoon of olive oil. Then pour in a can of rotel. Add some flour (about two heaping spoons) and some water until it gets to the right gravy consistency you like. Pour over rice. SO yummy - especially for a cold, winter day.
Y'all have a great Wednesday!
Tiff ;)
