Merry Christmas, Y'all!

Well Christmas is dying down now - I hope you're enjoying yours if you celebrate it, or at least having a great day!

Last night, my son and his wife came over and I just felt so happy seeing them and having my other 2 angels with me. I let them open gifts last night since they're going to her parent's house today. 

Here's a picture of us: (Left to right Shawn, me, Scarlett, Dylan and his wife, Margie). If my heart could grow 20 sizes, it would. This is my happy place. 



Today Shawn and Scarlett woke up and opened their gifts. They said it was the best Christmas ever, so that makes me happy! 

I got some gifts from my babies - a spa gift card, a picture of my granddog Siwey that made me cry because I miss him so much (yes, I'm a dork), and two books I plan to devour today to start 2019 off right. One is called Emotional Beats: How to Convert Your Writing Into Palpable Feelings and the other is Understanding Show, Don't Tell. They filled my stocking with many goodies I plan to eat today: Pecan delights, sea salt caramels, chocolates and more. And they gave me lots of spa stuff for my bath and other self care. 

So now we clean up the Christmas morning mess, make a nice breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the gifts we shared. 

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and now let's start thinking about what we want out of the New Year!
