Fall Profits Are in the Air
Published: Sun, 09/27/09
Did you realize that the holiday season is already at your
doorstep? Around here (in DFW, Texas), it may be 96 degrees, but
Halloween stuff is in all of the stores and Christmas ads are going
up, too. People are starting to buy costumes and even Christmas
gifts early - and you can profit from it!
There's money to be made with Squidoo lenses for one. Blogs for
another. Lenses do really well for toys and other Christmas gifts
and sales are already starting to flow based on search engine
traffic for Halloween and Christmas.
I just made a cute lens really quick about this year's hot toy -
Zhu Zhu pet hamsters:

All I did was write a quick introduction, a few more quick text
modules and I stuck some Amazon modules in between. The hyperlinks
you see in the text are using my Amazon Associates ID. Took me
about 30 minutes to make the lens because I had to see what these
toys do.
Now I want to remind you about something many of us did last year -
we created mini landing pages using the strategy in Info Product
Killer. I am here to tell you that you can apply the exact same
strategy using free Squidoo lenses. If you already read the guide,
then you'll know what structure I'm talking about - if not, here's
where to find it:

Info Product Killer is an affiliate marketing guide that's completely
different - not your usual "promote ClickBank items using PPC" stuff.
Along with the guide there are video tutorials, and while I recommend
using his domain structure, I also say for those who can't shell out
for domains, Squidoo lenses are a great free option for you.
When you create a lens, watch for the keyword traffic coming in. I
made a broad Halloween costume lens and discovered that many people
wanted a baby snail costume. Go figure! So I made a specific lens
about that so I would rank higher.
I'm sticking to the main road with my Internet marketing efforts -
continued PLR launches and info product development, but I'll never
ignore the fall profit season because it's such a big boost right
when everyone needs it most - the end of the year.
Hope y'all have a productive week coming up!
Tiff :)
