You Only Have 9 Weeks to Make Money
Published: Wed, 10/21/09
Can you believe it's only a little over 9 weeks until Christmas? I
can't, but it's one of my favorite times of the year. Our house is
like the Griswolds every year - we decorate from floor to ceiling
inside and outside, our home lights up the neighborhood. (Right now
it's decked out for Halloween and Thanksgiving)
It's always a blast because right around now the stores start
adding Christmas decorations to their Halloween mix, and my husband
and I add to our collection of decorations because we can't help
ourselves! And I don't care how tacky it looks - it makes us smile.
Because I woke up this morning realizing time was running out, I
decided to put nose to the grindstone and bang out a great
Christmas Mega PLR pack that can be used to sell items from places
like Amazon.
It's not ready yet.
I just wanted to give you a heads up because as much as we focus on
information products, at this time of year, tangible affiliate
sales can really send you an extra boost of cash right when you
need it most - after all of your shopping has drained your bank
account.
What can you get commission on?
Christmas presents - toys for kids, electronic gadgets like the
Amazon Kindle or big screen TVs, luxury watches, etc. And it's
starting now (well actually a couple of weeks ago - my Squidoo
lenses went nuts with Christmas traffic from people typing in
things like "top Christmas toys 2009" because they're early
shoppers - the ones who brag to their friends on November 1st that
they're already done present shopping).
Christmas decorations - we order ours online from Amazon a lot
because we get free shipping for anything over $25. And we can find
stuff we can't find in local retailers.
This includes lights and outdoor inflatable decorations, but also
holiday dinnerware, candles, wreaths and more.
Christmas music - I like to hear it sometimes, but my husband
listens to it starting after Thanksgiving until Christmas is over.
We have radio stations here that play it non-stop, and many people
buy music for their MP3 player. Go do a search in a keyword tool
for Christmas and you'll find that songs and music are something
people type in a lot.
If you're still working on creating your own info product or
selling other people's, great! But don't neglect the possibility of
making some easy money promoting stuff from Amazon IF you want to.
Use Squidoo or Hub Pages - they're free and easy. And, create a
quick blog like I did here: http://www.planyourchristmas.com - also
free (and easy with a free template I got online).
And stay on the lookout for the Mega Christmas PLR pack to help
pull in traffic to your lenses or blog. I'll have a 5 page report
and then 52 one page articles for you to use and I'm sure I'll be
giving my subscribers a steep discount from what the public pays.
You go ahead and get your pages ready and then the PLR will be there
for you in a few days from now.
Have a great Wednesday - hey it's halfway over till the weekend!
Tiff ;)
