Ever Wonder What Niches Are Most Popular?
Published: Thu, 04/29/10
Running my own ghostwriting service taught me a lot about what hot
topics were on the horizon. Ever since I quit ghostwriting, I've
missed that insight. But I have another way to see what's hot and
how people are making money - sales in my PLR Mini Mart.
Not only do I see sales stats and get to realize which packs are
most in demand, but people often email me follow ups saying,
"Thanks for the PLR - I put it on (XYZ site) and it's already
earned me ($XYZ)" so I sometimes also get to discover odd niche
markets that are converting!
I thought I'd share some of that insight with you today. It might
spur an idea in you!
The single best selling pack of articles on the site is "Working at
Home on the Net" with the Internet Marketing Mega pack close behind.
My Penny Stock Investing pack has recently gotten many hits and
sales - something must be buzzing about penny stocks right now.
Same goes for my sleep disorder PLR - a sudden influx of hits and
sales (maybe they're onto something because I'm all upside down on
my sleep right now).
PLR packs that have never sold: baby photo frames, air tools, 4
wheel drive training, Industrial Abrasive Products, electroplating,
printing, gold plating, and alcohol delivery - funny enough, these
were all requested by a single customer - but he must be the only
person in those niche markets OR maybe the first one I've had who
knows about this niche market.
Most surprising successful PLR to me: Chicken Coops. Can't even
count how many people have told me they've made money with this
pack. Are that many people really building their own chicken coops?
I guess so! That and buying them at Amazon.
Best selling affiliate review pack: Panic Away.
Least selling affiliate review pack: Ewen Chia's Super Affiliates -
sold 0
According to my traffic stats to the site, the top 5 niche topic
hits I'm getting are for:
1.) Health (and I'll include specific searches - infertility,
diabetes, weight loss, etc)
2.) Golf
3.) Smoking cessation
4.) Coffee (surprising to me that it's a top one)
5.) And how to put this delicately...male "parts."
Well I hope this knowledge gives you some sort of insight for those
who are wondering what niche to tap into or maybe even what to
avoid!
Tiff :)
