Results of My Bring the Fresh Case Study for Core Videos Only

Published: Mon, 06/14/10

Hi !

I'm about to move on to review the Full Disclosure videos from
Kelly Felix and Mike Long's Bring the Fresh course, but before I
do, I wanted to tell you how the Core Videos worked for me so far.

...and FYI you can read about the course here:
http://www.tiffanydow.com/bringthefresh.html

Using their strategy, which was painless, I was able to get four
out of the five domains that I created following their tactics
perfectly to a page one Google ranking. That's great!

The sites and the keywords they target are:

www.earnaffiliate.net targets earn affiliate - I'm ranked #1 page 1
and I gained the top position when I only had 3 half page blog
posts (about 250 words). That's all it took using their strategy. I
flubbed my tracking on this one so I'm not sure about how many
sales it's made but it IS getting traffic - over 430 unique
visitors this month, which is great for a site only a couple of
weeks old!)

www.sushisupplies.org targets sushi supplies - Scroogle tells me
I'm #6 but Google says I'm #5. Anyway, this site is making sales!
I've sold about 10-15 sushi items from Amazon so far. It only has 3
simple blog posts of about 200-250 words each - just like they
teach (perfect for those who hate to write!).

www.haloreachcomeout.com targets halo reach come out - I did this
one as part of Kelly's forward thinking lesson, which I loved. And
sure enough those 3 simple blog posts got me to page one - and I'm
being found for some great keyword phrases. This is a pre-order
product, so no commission yet on these.

www.xboxrepairdvd.org targets xbox repair dvd - and this is a Bring
the Fresh site my 17 year old son actually did and with only TWO
short blog posts and a free WordPress theme, he's ranked on page 1
of Google - at #3 on Scroogle and #4 on Google. He's been lazy,
too! He still has to enter that third blog post. And he's getting
traffic for the right keyword phrases, too.

I'm really excited that just the Core Videos - and simple tasks got
4/5 of my sites ranked on page 1 of Google so fast - within a week
or a little more for some. That says to me that what they're
teaching WORKS.

And as you'll notice, I specifically did three NON marketing topics
so that you could see a variety of results and not just think it's
marketing only that this stuff works on.

So people have had a few questions for me about Bring the Fresh and
now I want to answer them:

1.) Is it newbie friendly?

Yes but there are different levels of newbie. If you don't even
know what SEO means, it might be a little much. Otherwise, if you
know the basic verbiage, you'll be fine.

2.) What else do I have to buy to use this program?

Nothing if you don't want to. Now I personally invested in Market
Samurai - it's a one time payment for a tool I absolutely love
because it shortens my time on tasks. What it does is pulls in
research for you based on you giving it one broad keyword.

It doesn't use the exact keywords all down the list - it actually
gives you similar ideas (you may not have thought of) and tells you
which ones will be most profitable to target based on traffic and
searches, and likelihood that the person will buy.

Here's the link to that if you want to check it out:

Other than that there are issues where you CAN choose to outsource
a task or you can do it yourself. I outsourced $20 worth of grunt
work and did the rest myself. From time to time Kelly might point
out a useful tool but it doesn't mean you HAVE to have it - he's
just showing you what makes it all quick and easy for him.

3.) Do Kelly and Mike really help everyone or just you, because
you're reviewing them?

I've checked and they really do help everyone. They have a cool
Yahoo group that I belong to and not only are they there both hands
on answering questions, but the group members offer great insight
too, which is a big perk when you're learning a new system.

4.) Do you think the upgrade to Full Disclosure is worth it?

I don't know yet to be honest - I'm about to get started on those
today, so be sure to stay tuned into my blog at TiffanyDow.com/blog
so you can follow along. What I DO know is that the Core Videos are
worth it, and Kelly and Mike taught THIS old dog many new tricks -
stuff I was so thrilled to learn.

And as you saw, the Core videos got me ranked #1 or page 1 on
Google with 4 out of 5 of my sites. (The 5th one, in case you're
wondering, is just harder to tackle but I'm not done yet).

So if you're on the fence about the upgrade, don't do it! Never do
anything you aren't feeling good about. Check out the Core Videos
here:

And if you sign up, be sure to join the Yahoo group and introduce
yourself. I'll be in there sharing ideas, too. I already gave
people a good niche idea that I knew about but wasn't going to
pursue. And I've learned a lot, too.

If you have any specific questions (that aren't asking me to tell
you what they teach, because that's not fair to them), please feel
free to email me back and I'll answer as best as I can.

Stay tuned later for part of the full disclosure reviews!

Tiff ;)
