What’s Your Plan for the Week?

Published: Sat, 08/21/10

Hi !

Lately I've been getting lots of emails from those of you afflicted
with shiny new thing syndrome. I suffer from that too. Others just
email me completely overwhelmed - you know that place you get to
where you have so many options and things to do that you get
paralyzed?

How often have you seen me map out plans? If I'm not CONSTANTLY
doing that, I get all messed up. And to be honest, sometimes I get
messed up even WITH a plan! But you just have to keep being
productive. So let me share mine with you...

I work 7 days a week. Sometimes only 20 minutes, but I like to do
something every day.

Today (Saturday) was the day I was going to put all this
ghostwriting I'd outsourced to my son and another girl up on my two
sites - one at toptoysthisyear.com and the other at
infantbabyhalloweencostumes.com. So I click the link to Network
Blazer and ...nothing.

The site's down (my sites are up but the log in site is down). I
had 11 pages to build, too! I have to turn to plan B then because
there's plenty to do this week. Can't let my rigid schedule get the
best of me.

Sundays and Thursdays I plan to write a new pack for my PLR Mini
Mart at shop.plrminimart.com and I like writing on those two days
because they're the most relaxing for me.

Monday I had planned to do more of my Bring the Fresh review and
one module for the revamp of my socialmarketing101.com product.

Tuesday I'd planned to work on my PLRATM.com product and Wednesday
would be working on Membernaire for my IMWritingTips.com site where
I plan to use two guinea pigs and test drive this whole membership
concept at some dirt cheap price to get my feet wet.

Friday I gave myself a free day to work on whatever happened to
need me.

But now that NB is down, what should I do? The good thing about
having my week mapped out is that I can easily swap things around.
I can either swap it out with Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Here's when I just have to go with whatever piques my interest
most. Today that happens to be Membernaire. I'd been thinking about
it all day yesterday and so today I'm going to sit down and choose
my two guinea pigs for the project, make sure they're up for being
publicly scrutinized, and start on lesson one of Membernaire.

Whenever I do a Membernaire day, I'm also going to create a vlog
about it for Tiffanydow.com/blog like a review, so you can see my
progress and see whether or not this is a good product for you.

Membership sites scare me, to be honest, but I want to make this
the best it can be. And at just once a week, it won't be too hard.
This is the product I'll be using:

So if you're feeling overwhelmed, look at what all I work on during
the week. Anyone who tells you that you can't do more than 1 thing
is a liar. I like to promote tangibles, info products, teach via my
blog, email, JV, and more. I may drop the ball from time to time,
but I'm pretty good at handling it and I don't have to lose my mind
to get it done most of the time :)

Have a great weekend!
Tiff ;)
