Marketing Mailbag, Reviewaholic x2
Published: Tue, 03/15/11
Well I played hooky today from work and took my kids on a playdate
with an old family friend, shopped for new shoes and video games,
and got their hair cut so you'd think I'd be tired by now but I got
the urge to continue working, so here's what I have for you today:
1.) I am SO far behind on emails (5 DAYS) that I decided to yank a
few and do a Marketing Mailbag Q&A - it's about a variety of
topics. Find that here:

2.) It's official. I'm a reviewaholic. I can't help it! I love
tapping into ideas and applying JUST what I like to my own business
and Frankentiffing it. So today I tacked on another freaking
review. And I have one on AdSense waiting in the wings that I'm
chomping at the bit to get my hands on.
Someone has a competing PLR guide - and I'm reviewing it selfishly.
I already have a thriving PLR store but if your competitor comes to
you and says, "Hey I'm spilling all of my secrets in a guide," you
READ it! You spy, you absorb - and you try to use YOUR tactics
along with THEIR tactics to dominate the market.
So this time I'm reviewing Peg Baron's Become a PLR Writer - it's
less than $18 and she has some sort of monthly newsletter option,
which I thought was a cool idea. So check out review 1 here:

3.) Woohoo! I got accepted by CreateSpace/Amazon with my book
submission even though I almost pulled my hair out in yesterday's
review of Instant Authority Program. I have a few things to add
that I found out about - and it's not a green light yet because
they gave me some things I could improve, so you can see my
progress and update here:

Here's something I want to tell y'all about reviewing products -
it's great for TWO reasons:
First, it makes you be productive IF you actually implement the
product. It helps you learn new tips - even if 99% of the product
stinks, there's that 1% that might change your business.
Second, you have people following along and they may buy through
your link, helping you earn so it's not "time wasted" even if the
product isn't what you personally prefer.
I highly suggest that those of you buying products and implementing
them - do a review site! Get a simple WordPress blog and just speak
your mind! And let's say you buy one that absolutely sucks. Well
then you offer your readers an alternate recommendation!
Tiff ;)
