Disavow Madness, Squidoo Versus Site, Health
Published: Fri, 10/19/12
Well here in Texas we are in mourning. Big Tex, our 60 year icon at
the State Fair, caught fire today and burned completely up! Big Tex
is a 52-foot tall statue that talks to you when you're at the
Fair - he had cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, denim jeans, etc. Glad
my kids got to meet him last year!
I'm being productive today! I just HAD to take a few days off
the Squidoo lens building challenge. I got burned out. I need more
variety and I just can't slap up content - I have to research
and do good stuff. Anyway, not forgotten - I'll wrap up this
week and spend the weekend getting my content researched and
outsourced.
Now today I have a couple of other things:
#1 - Squidoo Versus Your Own Site (Subscriber Question)

#2 - Health Day 5 (end of week 1)
So the scale today said, "Tiff - it's the end of week 1
and you've put ON 2 pounds. But - don't despair! Because
you've gone from 52.3% body fat to 49.9% body fat!" And
yeah, it's still fat - but being BELOW that 50% number - even
by 0.1%? Priceless.

#3 - Disavow Madness
Well the emails are flooding in. They're all about the final
nail in the coffin that Google is releasing, horror stories and
what if scenarios and doom and gloom - you've seen these all
the time, right? Well here are my thoughts...

Oh! And I have a question if you're into this and want to let
me know. On Bill O'Reilly the other night he said, "If you
happen to know anyone in another country, out of curiosity, ask
them if the election in the US is being covered there in the media
- and if so, how do they present it - pro Obama or not?"
(Because here in the US, the media is very liberal for Obama except
Fox News).
So I'm curious like Bill - and also curious about this - I
never really pay attention to other countries' elections or
whatever. I might notice in passing if someone new is mentioned as
being in office elsewhere - but we sure don't pay attention to
the process leading up to it.
IF it's covered in a big way in your country, I'm curious
why? Or why would anyone care? I have one friend in the UK who is
always having dialogue with me and seems interested in the election
and I find it hilarious (cuz he's funny) but I do wonder why he
even pays attention.
Showing my ignorance, here - but I'm sheltered in my hermit
hidey hole here, so help me out. LOL! Go here to let me know:

Y'all have a great day tomorrow! I'll be sleeping in and
then cooking that minestrone soup all day - I was too sore to do it
today.
Tiff ;)
