Goal Setting Filters, Covert Messenger PRO, Blogging Review 8

Published: Wed, 12/12/12

Hi !

I woke up before 5 AM this morning, worked for awhile and later
woke up my kids and they're both home sick with me today! Not
good when it's the week before finals. Luckily, they can do
their work at home - made me SO grateful I grew up before everyone
had home PCs and instant access to teacher emails with downloable
worksheets. I liked laying around watching TV on my sick days.

Okay I have some neat things for you today! Check it out:

#1 - Goal Setting Filters

After a discussion with my friend Tiffiney Cowan and several others
via email, it dawned on me that our goal setting is being defined
in terms of a business model - but we should have filters to
"vet" our tasks to see if they're in line with what
we want to achieve in 2013.

#2 - Covert Messenger PRO

Well in 24 hours, that little tool I blogged about yesterday that
cost me about $11 had made me 4 sales of a $27 product. That's
$108 for those who are too lazy to do the math. Each person told me
specifically it was due to that tool. Almost everyone said they
loved it. I believe 1-2 people didn't.

So since the regular version worked, I decided to upgrade to the
PRO version and here's my blog about that:

I'll be tweaking and messing with it but I foresee some
fantastic perks I can deliver through this - some will be blog
reader deals only (just have to think some up). I can do special
discount coupons, secret freebies - all sorts of stuff! I'm
making plans for it.

#3 - Blogging With John Chow Review 8: Getting Links for Our Sites

One thing I'm noticing, is this isn't just about blogging.
Seems to be fitting for lots of stuff - social networking, static
sites, even emails. Just lots of good tips throughout this course.
I was worried about what John would teach for linking because
someone told me he once got smacked for it - but apparently
it's all normal now and he sure isn't teaching anything
gross.
