Well my caretaking responsibilities expanded yesterday and today
when my oldest son Dylan returned to the nest for Mama to look
after him. He's running a fever, has a horribly swollen throat,
and I did all the usual stuff Moms do. Made him take a warm bath,
with coffee and ice cream (since his throat hurts), then fall
asleep on the couch in a bed I made for him while I went and got
his prescriptions. I hate that he's sick but I LOVE that
I'm still needed!
This weekend I've spent holding Scarlett as she slept in my
arms (instead of working). But man, I'd rather kiss that little
forehead and snuggle her close than pound away on my keyboard any
