False Leadership, Trust Boundaries, Fire Sale, Litmus Test on Promoting People

I love Halloween and it's almost here! Yesterday, Scarlett and
I were waiting for my son's practice to end yesterday and we
were at my Mom's when Scarlett suddenly threw a sticky
Halloween eyeball decoration up on Mom's ceiling - right at the
front door. I had to let my Mom know it was there because I
didn't want it to startle her if and when it falls on her head.
I'm still putting up decorations today - we mostly decorate
inside for personal enjoyment, but we do a little outside, too. For
those of you in the costume niche, hope you had a "Fox
costume" on your site because those will be selling like crazy
thanks to an insane song that my daughter plays - What Does the Fox
Say? Don't listen to it - it'll invade your mind like an
ear worm.
Okay so today I am working and cleaning (someone asked what's
left to clean and I said it has to be cleaned daily - I have kids
and pets). I wanted to share a few things with you:

You might be mistaken. I was indulging in a little West Wing on
Netflix yesterday in my bath when I HAD to jot down a great quote

I realized something recently when I was thinking about who I trust

Okay I think I'll finish working and cleaning! We just grilled
out and it was SO good. It was a high in the 60s and I got some
lighter fluid to force those coals to stay lit this time. I needed
a grilled burger smell. Even if, for me, it was a mere veggie
burger.
