Read the bottom to see if you got ripped off on something...
I saw something funny a few days ago - a friend of mine of FB posted that he was calling it a day because he had just sent an offer to someone making for their domain. A domain he owned. LOL! What was even funnier is that others had done the same thing. One guy said he was angry that he'd thought of a great domain and found out someone else had already bought it - and later realized it was him! Y'all domain hoarders have to be careful because those brilliant ideas will cycle around from time to time. Ha ha.
Okay here's what I have for you today...

Get Your Emails to Convert Better - Part 2
Yesterday I started a discussion about how to get your emails to convert. Here is part 2: When and Why. There are different reasons for sending out emails, and timing that might vary, depending on your niche. So consider these things:
- Know when to send an email - for me, it's in the morning as people are starting their day. I know it's the first thing I do in the morning. But be sure to split test it and test evening or late afternoon emails, too. You never know what time your audience will respond best.
- Know what type of email to send. There are several types, and you don't want to create random emails. So they might include:
- Abandoned cart emails, which is cool with services like Warrior Plus that do it for you. The person browses, puts it in their cart and leaves, triggering the abandoned cart email saying "Did you forget something?"
- Welcome email - welcoming your new subscriber to your list. It should include the freebie you offered, maybe some insight about you or being on your list, and maybe a surprise, too!
- Nurture email - sometimes it's nothing more than "I'm looking out for you" or "I am here to help." It can also be a reward for being a long-time subscriber. You can even send one after a purchase to check up on them and show them you're there for them.
- Gone cold - some people send out emails if the person isn't converting anymore. I don't do this, but you might want to.
- Specific products or interests - I have a variety of people doing things from info products to affiliate marketing, fiction, low content, PLR, freelancing and more. So I usually discuss a variety.
Did you get ripped off?
So a very sweet subscriber of mine reached out to me to let me know that she recently (in September) bought a PLR pack about boosting the immune system. As she started going through the content, it sounded an AWFUL lot like the same articles I sold way back in March. So she sent me a copy of theirs and compared it to mine. Look at these two snippets - the top one is mine, the bottom is theirs:

Now we all know my rules - you can't put my name on it and you CAN'T PASS ALONG PLR to OTHERS. That includes halfhearted attempts to rewrite it and pass it off as your own. This pack was sold 6 months after mine by Sajan and Justin and it was called Boost Your Immune System. They even got "Deal of the Day" for it, just as I did with mine 6 months earlier.
This is obviously annoying for me as a seller because it's my hard work being copied. But it's also bad for you as a buyer. You're getting content you already own. Demand better. Shop smarter. Some of us sell you unique content written from scratch. Others don't care about ethics apparently. Or they hire writers - their "team" who don't care. Either way, it's bad.
I've reached out to Warrior Plus to see if they do anything about it. I'll also see if I can get it removed from their site. Justin said he would check with Sajan since it's his writer. Never ever rewrite someone else's content. Most people aren't capable of making it their own, which is why that rule is in place.
That's it for me today - y'all have a great rest of your day!
Tiff ;)
