New Ltd to 50 PLR: Email Marketing Success, Power of Abundance PLR, Get Your Emails to Convert Better - Part 3
Published: Sat, 11/07/20
Happy Friday! Well, Saturday now, I suppose technically but I'm still awake. We've had an eventful day here with a water heater deciding to flood my den. Yay! They're coming Saturday afternoon to replace it all but they got the flood to stop at least. To make myself feel better I decided to have some retail therapy - and I bought that local family we adopted some more gifts and then I decided to create a new charity challenge for myself, too.
There's a local mission here that provides toys for the families who can't afford them this Christmas. They have 100 items on their list to choose from for people to donate and then parents get to come shop for free at the "store" and the volunteers will wrap the gifts for them so they can take them home and give them to their kids. I LOVE this idea! I want to buy one of each before Christmas and deliver them. They're split up into age groups - from tiny babies or toddlers to teens. And they even ask for wrapping paper and tape, so I got six items for them. Really puts me in a better mood focusing on others instead of being angry about a plumbing issue.
So here's what I have for you today:

Get Your Emails to Convert Better - Part 3
The other day I started a discussion about how to get your emails to convert. Here is part 3: Writing for the Goal. So knowing what you want to go in the email and when to send it out is the first step. But now you have to write the content.Be mindful of the following when you do:
- Have a clear message and purpose. Don't ramble or veer off track or include things that aren't relevant, unless it's part of your personalization and connection elements.
- Have an appealing subject line. I've seen some things that people thought were shocking but just were gross. They were after a click.
- Appropriate tone is important. What's funny is, if someone spoofs my email and tried to make it look like it was sent to me, most people know it's not just by tone.
- Make sure the info if trustworthy and accurate and proofread it before you send it out. I'm guilty of not previewing it and I catch typos later and cringe.
- Some say you should only have one goal for the email, so it's not confusing. But mine aren't like that. So you do what works best for you.
- Be upfront about the purpose of the email. Don't try to trick people into clicking through.
That's it for me today - y'all have a great rest of your day or errr, night!
Tiff ;)
