New Ltd to 50 Buyers PLR: Affiliate Marketing Monetization, Get Your Emails to Convert Better - Part 5
Published: Sun, 11/08/20
We have Christmas lights up! I'm so excited. Such a beautiful glow in the house. My son puts lights all around the top edge of the ceiling. LOL! I love it. For now, I have a big pile of decor in my living to put up little by little. And I just signed us up to volunteer for our local shelter because they're swamped with kittens and they need cleaning and care. Please cross your fingers that I don't melt and bring one home. I'd have a whole zoo if I could.
Okay here's what I have for you today/night:

Get Your Emails to Convert Better - Part 5
The other day I started a discussion about how to get your emails to convert. Here is part 5: Email copy. The meat of the email should have some specific elements, such as:- Personalize it by using their name - and try to make sure you don't format it wrong so your autoresponder says "firstname" instead of their real first name. LOL!
- Teasing subject line - not clickbait, but something that piques their interest. Something actually relevant to the content in the email.
- Short and sweet - short sentences and paragraphs actually work better with readers for many reasons - attention span, time, etc. So don't overdo it trying to sound smart. It should be easily scannable. Use lists, sub-headings, and tiny bite-sized pieces of information.
- Clear message - reread your email to make sure it all makes sense. Sometimes we have thoughts in our head and if they don't make it into the email, it's incomplete for the recipient.
- Ask questions of your readers. Even if they don't reply, it may get them thinking on their own.
- Test and analyze with A/B testing - also known as split testing. This way you get to see real statistics about what works and what doesn't with your list.
- Use a segmented list so the copy is relevant - if applicable, you can set it up so that only a portion of your readers get one message and another portion gets a different message.
- Answers the subscriber question, “What’s in it for me?” This is a big one. If you're not helping them, you're wasting their time.
That's it for me today - hope y'all have a great rest of your day or night!
Tiff ;)
