Confusing Product Rights in Warrior Plus, Digital Paper Template and Cover Creator Template
Published: Sun, 11/01/20
How is your Sunday going? I'm still finding pumpkin seeds that went flying from our carving efforts. I would love to bake them but I always say I am and then find it all too much work so I buy them to eat instead. I am very scatterbrained lately. Scarlett and I went to pick up a grocery order at Sam's and Albertsons a couple of days ago and we decided to get some Chick Fil A on the way home. An hour later, after we ate, we realized we had forgotten to bring the groceries in! Luckily there was nothing that could melt.
Okay here's what I have for you today...
Digital Paper Template and Cover Creator Template
Sue Fleckenstein has something for all you digital and printable content creators who need templates. It's a set that includes templates for you - and if you can get it before Monday, she also has a couple of built in bonuses like 10 ready to use digital papers and 10 delicate flower clip arts. She also includes video instructions and written instructions for using it.
Don't forget: you can save 20% with the coupon: SAVE20TODAY and it should pre-populate on the checkout form, but if not, type it in.

Confusing Product Rights in Warrior Plus
Warrior Plus recently added a section in their product set up where we have to choose a Type of License. I dislike this and requested that they make this section Optional because it's adding confusion unnecessarily.I already have my license rights on my sales page AND inside the PLR pack, both. Adding a third area where their choices don't exactly match what I'm selling causes people to wonder what they can and can't do and then they have to email me, wait for a reply, etc.
I keep my choice for license as personal (even though it's PLR) because some get confused and think they can sell PLR to it to others. They make us choose between personal or extended.
If you choose extended, you check off some things but that can get VERY confusing, so I always default to personal and my exact PLR license is inside the pack and on my sales page.
If I chose extended, these are some of the problems that would arise - and I know this because I've been selling PLR since 2006, so I know what customers get confused about. Here are the options we get to select under Extended:
- "Buyer can use this product as a bonus or giveaway" (many will do it WITH PLR intact, giving their customers private label rights, and they can't do that - but there's no clarification in the wording here. )
- Buyer can resell this product (I don't allow the reselling of the PLR version, but can they turn it into a PDF and sell it to readers? Sure)
- Buyer can sell resell rights to this product (never)
- Buyer can modify this product and claim ownership (Well yes in PDF form, but they can't do it for PLR - and unfortunately, I see this even being taught by some people, which is wrong - each PLR seller has different rules and most PLR sellers don't allow it to be sold as PLR, even if it's modified)
- Buyer can use this product as part of client projects (No, not unless they've bought it for just one individual client because then that's the same as passing PLR along).
So no, I stick with the personal use rights license because the built in one is too muddled :) Just know that when you see my PLR being sold on W+ it's going to say personal - and this is why, above. You have my PLR rights to it - don't use my name on it, and don't pass PLR along to others.
That's it for me today - y'all have a great rest of your day!
Tiff ;)
