Merry Christmas!

Published: Fri, 12/25/20

I just wanted to send you a Merry Christmas message today!

My kids are still asleep. It's funny how, when they were growing up, I had to set an alarm to try to be up before them because they'd be out here when it was still dark outside. But now that they're older, I'm the one making lots of noise so they'll wake up and open their presents.

While I love to focus on getting my kids their gifts, I always pause and take time to reflect on the real meaning of today. (And yes I know it's not the real date supposedly.)

It's how I'll start and end my day - celebrating the birth of Christ and thinking of all that I'm grateful for.

A funny moment I always remember - when Scarlett, who is now 16, was a little girl, she said, "Mommy...I don't understand why we never hear much about Mary on this day. She's the one who gave birth to baby Jesus - why don't we give Mary a whirl for a change?"

So cute.

I hope you all have a relaxing and cozy day today. I know many are heartbroken, unable to see their loved ones. I'm really hoping 2021 is better to us than this year has been. I plan to spend the next few days planning my upcoming year, as I always do. I let go of some domains this week - bestbabydolls.com and survivalforwomen.com among them if you want to grab one of those. They were making me some money but I really only used them as challenge examples, and I want to focus on other stuff in 2021. I had no desire to flip them and go through any technical hassle so I just didn't renew them.

That's it for me today - have a great rest of your Christmas day!

Tiff ;)
