Original Pricing, Power of Storytelling PLR, Providing Services to Get Your Profits Started

Published: Fri, 02/05/21

Yesterday I got to attend a virtual book signing event with my two favorite women's fiction authors - Kristin Hannah and Jodi Picoult. It cost about $38 (you got the book and a ticket to attend the zoom call) and it was really cool. Would be better to meet them in person but this'll do - perfect for my hermit self.

Heads Up: Last night, there were less than 15 copies left of the 5th report in the mindset limited PLR series - called Prioritize Your Work Schedule for Profits. The 6th one (out of 7 total) will come soon.

Providing Services to Get Your Profits Started

Some people need to get their start doing services online. I did it! This is perfect because you're working with marketers who are already successful. My biggest day as a service provider was as a ghostwriter when I earned $15,000 for 15, 50-page eBooks ($20 per page).

Here are some tips for being a service provider:

Cater to Successful Marketers to Grow Your Own Thriving Business

These individuals have no time or talent to get the job done, so they turn to freelancers. You don't need a flashy website, huge portfolio or recommendations. It does require you to brand yourself and build a stable of clients. They don't just find you - you need to put yourself out there.

Freelance Ghostwriters

They're hired for eBooks, reports, emails, blog posts, articles, etc. They're paid anywhere from $5 low end to $30 high end per page - more for specialty content like press releases. You need a portfolio (make one up of sample pages so they can see your content style), and knowledge of the language of marketers like "squeeze page" so you'll know what they want.

Graphics Freelancers

They create things like sales copy pages, banners, eCovers, etc. They get paid anywhere from $47 per eCover to thousands per sales letter. Skills are needed. The more advanced, the better - no simple DIY tools - they prefer PhotoShop skills.

Website Builders

This is more than graphics - this includes functionality of the site. Clients range from individual entrepreneurs and hobbyists to full size corporations. Skills need to be competitive - programming skills - and keep up to date with them as they evolve.

Virtual Assistants

These providers handle customer service, scheduling content, etc. They earn hourly or per project and rates range from $8 per hour and up. Find clients through word of mouth, freelance sites, or approach them yourself.

Copywriters

Sales copy commands more money than ghostwriting. Have a strong portfolio - even if you make up copy for a fake site, to showcase skills, that's fine - just don't fake your results with it. Find clients on Upwork, word of mouth, or have your own site.

Social Media Managers

These service providers build and protect your brand on social networking sites. You have to stay abreast of changes, new platforms launching, etc. Find clients through word of mouth, by approaching them, by branding yourself, through job listings, etc.

Brand Yourself as the Best

Namedrop clients if you have some big names and they'll allow it. Prove your results (conversions, traffic, etc.).  Acquire testimonials from them if they're willing to do it for you.

Winning Jobs and Increasing Your Income

It's more about the quality of projects and payments, not quantity of little jobs you can't stand. Start out competitive and replace lower paying clients with higher paying new ones as you go. Develop add-ons to your services. So for instance, if you offer blog ghostwriting, add a service to upload and schedule them.

That's it for me - hope y'all have a great rest of your day!

Tiff ;)
