Almost every week I get an email from someone asking if I still think someone is a good person to buy from. Or asking why I quit promoting someone. If I quit promoting someone, I can guarantee there's a reason behind it. Sometimes I get to know them personally and don't like the kind of person they are. Other times, they reveal some sort of scummy marketing behavior I don't want to expose you to. Sometimes, their quality goes downhill because as they try grow their business, they outsource to cheap labor that isn't up to par. But there is ALWAYS a reason. 

Sometimes it might be that their business dealings seem unfair to me as an affiliate. For example, there are some marketers who will secretly promote a new product to their list without telling us affiliates that their list is getting access early to it. Not only does that mean my list is getting it late, but as an affiliate, they're actively making sure they scoop up all the profits before giving anyone a chance to earn. Kind of scummy behavior. I always notify my affiliates up front if my list or someone else's gets any kind of perk like that so they know.

Affiliate Marketing on Social Networks

Just a quick note: Before you start affiliate marketing on ANY social network, make sure you thoroughly understand what's allowed and what's not.

You want to learn their rules, the TOS (terms of service), make sure you're reviewing the right way, etc.

Every network may have different rules about what you can do in terms of linking. You might have to link to your blog and not directly to Amazon, for example. Just don't wait until your account gets shut down to claim you didn't know because guess what? They don't care.
