I about freaked out the other day when I took my little chihuahuas out in the backyard. A little snake or lizard or something LEAPT out of the grass and onto the porch when I went out. No telling what the neighbors thought because I was screeching and my feet were barely touching the ground. I have heard that baby snakes are more venomous than their mamas and I am NOT taking time to identify if it's a bad one or not, so I was out of there. Told my son to cut that grass super short and I'm going to wear boots and stomp around to run them off so I don't surprise them anymore. The Purpose of a Brand

Why have a brand at all? You might be earning money already with no brand in place, so why not just scale up on how many websites you have and how many articles you post online?

A brand helps you effortlessly create more income because you generate a loyal base of customers who do your advertising for you.

For example, I can go to almost any PLR thread in a marketing forum or social post where someone’s asking where to find good PLR – and there’s almost always at least a few people saying “Tiffany's PLR Mini Mart!” 

I didn’t pay them, or promise to JV with them. They’re promoting my store because they know my store is associated with quality. 

One of the branding books I read stated that your goal is to create a rabid fan base. That means they’d go Honey Badger in your defense, and I have that. It means they talk about you to their friends and family – who have no clue who you are (I have that, too from some people who tell me how they tell their spouse or kid something about my online business). 

And if you process everything in terms of dollars and cents, then it also means whenever you promote something to them – a product or service – they often buy without even knowing what it is – because YOU promoted it. (I’m lucky enough to have that as well).

We're going to be talking about building a brand in the days and weeks coming up. Many people mistakenly think they don't need it. But without it, you're a stranger and people are skeptical of spending money online anyway.
