New Limited PLR - 5 Ways to Stress Less and Feel Better; About Page Style
Published: Sun, 07/18/21
I've had a pretty productive weekend so far. I'm SO excited about our trip. I ordered us some cute Minnie Mouse luggage tags, a hat with the ears attached since the regular Mickey ears give me a headache, and we got our phones upgraded for the trip and got a stabilizer for our videos we'll be making. Scarlett is making a Tik Tok account for our trips, so she'll be creating videos for it and I'll share that with y'all when it goes live if you want to follow along.
I saw some lady comment on someone else's video on YouTube that it was rude to post about trips when everyone is locked down. Well I don't know about you, but I was going stir crazy during the lockdown, so I LOVED watching other people out and about and being able to live vicariously through them. It really helped me. It is SO strange though to see current videos of Disney as if nothing ever changed and then comparing that to other parts of the country and world. I have no idea what it'll feel like to be there in the middle of it. Eek! I'm nervous, but excited.
FYI: Only 2 days left after today to get my new ClickBank Weight Loss Presell PLR Reports at a discount before it bumps up to full price.

Elements of Your New About Page
Your About page should be all your own style - not anyone else's. But there are some guidelines I can give you on what I think would make a good About page if I was visiting one and looking for information about whether or not I liked first impressions of this person and felt like investigating them further.Your promise statement should be somewhere prominent in this page. It’s not “all about them” as some people say – and it’s really not “all about you,” either.
If you think about it, what they want to know is: will you be good for them?
Will you be fair, honest, and worth their time?
The LAST thing I want you to do with this branding is write some sterile Unique Selling Proposition. Or follow this shallow advice I saw online – look what their advice on an About page is:
List your experience
Add links to your other websites or blogs
Add your contact information
NO!
All impersonal and not all of what your visitor is after. There are contact form plug ins for contact information. There are sidebars and other places to include links. The only thing worthy on that list is your experience – but not in a cold way.
People related to stories. So tell yours on your About page.
Start with a picture. Yep – time to get out the old JPG!
Breathe…you can do it!
It can be a thumbnail. It can be anything, but it needs to be you.
After the picture, give a quick snapshot of who you are. You might tell your age (it matters in some niches and with my niche, people always tend to tell me their age). You might explain who your family consists of (like a spouse, 3 kids and a dog - if you want to).
Give your backstory then – what led you to be where you are now?
Give information about how your path has altered over time. Did you start out on eBay and move to network marketing? Explain the transition. Talk about what you did and didn’t like.
Talk about what you think makes you different than your competitors. What will they gain from you that they can’t have with anyone else? (Or at least not many others).
Work your promise statement in there and expand on it.
Weed out your NON audience.
Invite people to connect to you. And by that I don’t mean saying, “Please feel free to contact me.” Be a little more personable. Set their mind at ease about reaching out to you – so many people feel like it’s an inconvenience.
That's it for me today - y'all have a great rest of your day!
Tiff :)
