We've only been home a couple of days but I'm going to really relax this weekend and recover. Even though it was a vacation, I was "on the go" way more than I ever am at home. Plus, you're happy and excited, so you feel kind of "wired" with energy 24/7. I just want to veg out and do nothing now until Monday.

Note: Tomorrow's email will go out at 9 AM EST in case you want to be on the lookout for a limited PLR report.

Growth in Your Business Branding

Ah this basic need is a bit tougher. You have to figure out how your reader wants to grow and then help them get there and be aware that they’ve grown! But you want to have baby steps along the way. You don’t want to make them wait a year and 12 month’s worth of courses later to see some change.

You want to celebrate their growth in increments so that they can measure the change in their lives, stay motivated and enthusiastic, and be encouraged to continue forward with YOU as their leader!

Many marketers make it allllllll about themselves. “Here’s what I did today,” or “Here’s how I did this.”

How about adding a little, “I want you to share your progress with me!” assignment? So let’s take a few niche examples that you can post to your blog or email your list or whatever – even post in a forum as a challenge!

Remember, the key is to celebrate their growth! You want to get them interactive and sharing with you.

- Beauty Niche – Let’s say you do a blog post on cuticle repair remedy. Teach a lesson that takes one week to repair cuticles and challenge your readers to spend 7 days following your advice and to post their before and after pictures!

People LOVE to get credit for their efforts and it will show growth in their ability to apply the lesson and see results. Make sure you ooooh and ahhh about their success when you post the pictures on results day!

- Cooking Niche – Announce that on a certain day, you’re going to make a specific recipe that the readers get to vote on. Okay? So you can even make a Monkey Survey asking for their votes.

When you get the results, announce the recipe’s ingredients and the day you’ll be cooking. Challenge them to follow along and be a chef for the day and to send you a few things when they’re done such as: a.) any ingredients they swapped out b.) a picture of the finished meal c.) their feedback on taste, and that of their family. Cheer on their ingredient swap ideas, and finished results. Maybe even have a Blue Ribbon award for the best picture.

- Internet Marketing Niche – Okay to this crowd, it’s often about money. So can you create a money challenge? It can be something small like “Flipping a WordPress Blog for $100” or “Making Your First Fiverr Gig Sale” or something. Or, if you have a more advanced audience, make it a top money challenge to see just how high the readers can go.

I used to periodically hold 30 day challenges that my readers got into a LOT. They'd post progress, show their growth, etc. I know that after my last 30 Day PLR challenge, so many people had grown their PLR stores by a TON and this felt amazing to them.

AND as an extra perk, their enthusiasm and success and growth spurred on many sales of my product. So you can intertwine it with a product you have that makes all their growth lead to increased conversions for you AND them. I know for a fact many people saw the success and sales and content creation during the 30 Day PLR challenge and bought my old PLR ATM course because of those results.

- Dog Training – Wow how many people are nuts about their dogs? (Raising my hand too!). Well they love sharing pictures. Why not have a vote on the most pressing dog training problem first.

Take those results, and let’s say a big problem is jumping up on guests when they walk in the door (BAD Mia – she does this).  Teach your readers about working on this ONE task for the week (or month – whatever it takes).

Ask them to write in by a deadline you create with a picture of their pooch and a status on whether or not it’s working, along with the details of the training and time they’ve put in to work on it.

This will make an awesome blog post for you as you address concerns, offer tips, and share success stories.

- Stress Niche – Many people keep their problems with this niche closed off from other people. You want to really emphasize the fact that they’re not alone and that you can all learn from each other as a support group of sorts.

Why not create a three or seven or ten day challenge for your readers on managing stress? Make them commit! You want them to keep a promise to you to actively work on it for a short amount of time.

You could have them surveyed on their preferred stress management exercises and products or regimens. One good idea might be to do this:

Have everyone submit his or her favorite stress relief tip. Just ONE. Then you take the top 7 tips and turn it into a one-week challenge. Allow for flexibility because people often STRESS when they don’t do things perfectly.

Then have them report back to you on the blog after the week is up with data on which tips worked and which didn’t. Turn it into a lesson! For instance, let’s say you TRULY believe in the power of a bubble bath as a stress reliever. But it wasn’t a big hit.

You can ask them to give it a second shot, and instead of JUST telling them to take a bubble bath, give them specific instructions for a new challenge – a week of bubble baths!

Have them try out these options:

-    Locking the door to prevent interruptions
-    Taking a glass of red wine (or sparkling water even) with them
-    Picking out a good book that’s for bubble bath time ONLY
-    Adjusting the lighting so that it’s not glaring
-    Choosing the best bubble bath product that you recommend (not Mr. Bubble kids’ bubble bath)
-    Using accessories for the bath like a bath pillow for their neck
-    Having light music in the background

It may turn out that they were just rushing through to complete a task, the kids were knocking at the door, they used shampoo for bubble bath, and sat there bored waiting to hurry and get out.

Pretend, when you guide someone in a niche like this, that whatever you’re teaching is COMPLETELY foreign to them and they have NO clue what to do. Because just saying, “take a bubble bath” can mean a WHOLE lot of things to different people and for stress relief, ambiance is key!

- Diet Niche – Well this one’s easy. Growth in the diet niche means no growth on the scale! But I want you to turn things upside down. Pick a mindset you want to encourage and make a challenge out of that.

For example, I once read an article about how women who ate their favorite “off limit foods” EVERY day ate fewer calories than women who deprived themselves and ate it only periodically.

It was called: Want to Lose Weight? Eat the Same Food Every Day. And I believe in this because I stopped gaining and started losing slowly when my nutritionist threatened to make me eat cake for breakfast every day – she said I could have it ANY time. And I did. And it became a complete non issue for me.

So you could take an idea that’s NEW to them – something that could help them GROW into the success they want – and make a challenge out of it. How about cake for breakfast every day for a week?

I’m just using that as an example. What happened with me is, I gained for the first 3 days because I was still in the “gorging because it’s an off-limit food” mindset. But on the 4th day it didn’t matter. I knew I could have it IF I wanted it, so I didn’t NEED to. Ever again.

From that point on during my sessions with her, there was no more binging or hiding food or shame or guilt. Just ate what I wanted when I wanted, and felt no shame in throwing away the extra I put on my plate.

When my nutritionist challenged me like that, and I finally GOT IT – I felt like I had grown as a normal human being. I didn’t feel like some monster anymore – some weirdo who had to hide sodas under my bed. I was free. Of course, I still struggle but I'm working through it. That was just one tiny issue I finally understood about mindset.

Tomorrow we'll talk about Contribution.

That's it for me today - hope y'all have a great rest of your day!

Tiff ;)
