New Limited PLR - Seasonal Immune System Strategies; Virtual Summit PLR; Supporting Competition

Published: Wed, 08/11/21

Today my little granddog Nibbler (a lab) is having surgery for bladder stones today. Poor little thing. Praying for her. She's such a sweet girl. I hate seeing animals in health situations, because we can't explain it to them.

Yesterday we (Shawn, Scarlett and I) started our 60 Day Challenge at our gym with my oldest son, Dylan as our trainer. Scarlett and I are training 3 days a week with him, and going 2 more days to the gym for cardio on our own. Goal is to be at or under 260 (from 280) in 60 days. Afterwards, we're doing a second 60-day challenge before my next Disney trip. I was thrilled that I LOST almost half a pound this last trip - because I just taste tested tons of stuff instead of stuffing myself full every meal.

I told my son to have no mercy on me - to be brutal, but I know it's hard for him to do that to his Mom. LOL. Shawn, on the other hand, is in a competition with me. He's so funny cracking jokes. Like he'll get in the Karate Kid crane pose and say, "But can you do THIS, Mom?" (because of my knee). We each say we're going to win this competition - but watch Scarlett come up from behind and be the winner with her muscle gains. She's already fit. Just toning. She IS going to train for the Disney trip, though. All the walking (about 15 miles a day) was hard on her feet when you're not used to it.

Here's what I have for you today and tomorrow's email should go out at 10 AM EST...

The Best Thing About Supporting Your Competition

Your readers have found and subscribed to you because they trust you. They like you. They respect your insight and your connection to them.

The respect that you're going to earn when you share other people and products with your readers is going to feel amazing to you.

It's okay to share products as an affiliate and form JVs with other marketers and earn income from those affiliations. But it's also good form to not always make everything about money.

I remember when John Reese, a former ghostwriting client of mine, blasted his list of subscribers about my Squidoo eBook. Now at that time, everyone - people like Yanik Silver - were calling me to do teleseminars as affiliates to promote my product.

But John, who was famous for the first million dollar day, made it a point to tell his subscribers that he was not using an affiliate link.

That seriously made me tear up - because it meant he wanted his subscribers to know about something unique and he valued the quality of the product so much that he didn't want them to think it was just another promotion like everyone else jumping on the bandwagon at that moment.

I remember hearing from people (John's readers) who commented about how he had done that, too. They appreciated him and trusted him even more.

Here's another perk - because of your good deed in supporting your competitors, many of your competitors are going to return the favor. It can also lead to many lucrative paid joint ventures and product collaborations.

As for branding, not only is the good will button pushed whenever you do this for your readers (providing good resources to them), but let's say you create a blog post promoting someone you're competing with in a positive manner.

They may very well link to your blog post to their own readers. It's like their way of saying, "See? I'm considered an expert even by my competitors!" (Only in a non arrogant way).

When someone is sent to your support of another marketer they already trust and respect, then you instantly become someone worth looking into as well. It's like leveraging another person's list - if you want to look at it selfishly.

That's it for me today - hope y'all have a great rest of your day!

Tiff :)
