I wanted to show y'all something real quick. You always want to keep an eye out for niche ideas and growth and in one of my women's magazines, I saw this (below). Whenever there's a situation that makes lifestyles change (like what's happened globally these past 18 months or so), it will often affect a niche and the profitability of it. 

In this case, the sewing niche has exploded by 170% due to more people spending time at home and needing hobbies. It's also a stress relieving hobby. There are tons of nice things you can promote for the niche - including sewing machines (which usually sell for over $100 or more), accessories and patterns, project kits and more. Even if you don't know how to sew and you want to learn, start a blog for beginners and blog your process of learning and doing. Make recommendations or link to what you're doing in your blog. 

Sewing is huge on Tik Tok, Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook - to the tune of tens of thousands, and sometimes hundreds of thousands of followers. What other things can you think of niche-wise that the times have changed.

Don't Get Discouraged!

There are times in this business when you may feel discouraged. Heck, even in life in general there are those moments. But instead of feeling defeated in those times, allow it to empower and motivate you. 

I think apathy is worse than feeling discouraged. I've actually been scared to find myself growing apathetic about something when it should have lit a fire under my butt to take action. 

Some people get discouraged because they start comparing themselves to other experts. Trust me when I say that there's an audience for everyone. You don't need anything other than a desire to help others with their goals and the willingness to teach them. 

You don't need a degree or a huge sum of money to get started. Those are not necessary with this career. 

Don't let your discouragement make you start blaming others. Just acknowledge the feeling and use it to your advantage. Don't get absorbed in it and let it define you. 

Whether you're disappointed by how you feel you measure up to your competitors or the time it's going to take to make money, you can change your mindset to that of a determined go getter.
