New Limited PLR - Work at Home Ergonomic and Healthy Office Gear; Habits of Greatness; Low Self Esteem Holds You Back
Published: Fri, 09/10/21
Scarlett and I were laughing at all the movies we used to watch in the 80s that we thought were scary. Jaws? She said, "Mom! It's like a giant puppet in the water - so fake looking." She wishes she could go back in time with some current technology and show the 80s kids to scare them. LOL!
I can imagine us even seeing Jurassic Park in the 80s and how REAL that looked. Oh my gosh. And some things I remember watching that scared me like Children of the Corn. What in the hillbilly kind of fear was that!? Kids living in a corn field turning on the adults? LOL! Or even Friday the 13th or Halloween - those guys walked so slow - you can't escape that?
I think looking back, one of the best scary movies that was unique was Nightmare on Elm Street because he got you in your sleep. But those movies are nothing compared to the technology of today, so I can't watch any scary stuff or I can't sleep. The last one I saw was Paranormal Activity and I couldn't sleep with my foot out of my blanket for months. LOL!
Oh I went to the doctor yesterday and she's running a number of tests to see what this finger/hand issue is. I need to be productive so hopefully it's one and done.
FYI: Tomorrow's email will go out at 9 AM EST in case you want to be on the lookout for it...

Don't Let Low Self Esteem Hold You Back
One thing that breaks my heart is seeing how many of my subscribers and online colleagues don't do things in this business because they don't feel like they're capable or good enough to put themselves out there like that. It's so weird how low self esteem works. Sometimes, we don't even realize we suffer from it. On the surface, everything seems okay. But if we really listen to our inner voice, we realize there's a lot of doubt in our abilities.
It's especially true when you are a solo entrepreneur and have to look at yourself from a competitive standpoint. You might see someone else and think they look better, sound better, know more, have a better personality, etc. You feel inferior.
Or you see online trolls making fun of others and you want to avoid that type of pain and judgement.
There are some little things you can do to boost your opinion of yourself - to look up to yourself, starting with reinforcing your abilities. Be mindful of every little "win" you have - every accomplishment you do. Whether you just take time to recognize yourself for it or journal it or whatever. Don't gloss over the fact that you took action and achieved anything, even little things.
Stop being so hard on yourself. If you can't figure something out, talk to yourself the same way you'd speak to a loved one - gently and with empathy. You wouldn't call them stupid or ridicule them. Be kind. Be your biggest protector.
If you have a stressful day, be protective of yourself. Engage in some self care stuff - whatever works best to make you feel good.
Let go of any past mistakes or shortcomings you may have had. We're all learning and growing in this career. Ease up on yourself! Positive self-esteem is rare for just about everyone, honestly. That's mostly because we aren't taught to protect ourselves - we're taught how not to hurt others (and some people ignore this).
It takes practice to have good self esteem and it's not something most people know to do.
That's it for me today - y'all have a great rest of your day!
Tiff ;)
