Published: Sun, 09/26/21

I had such a great weekend! My son came home and brought me  beautiful angel ornament that said, "Mom, you are a blessing to me." He's so thoughtful. And my daughter in law came over and made us a fantastic dinner with this lemon-pepper chicken, rosemary potatoes and parmesan broccoli. So grateful.

FYI: Tomorrow's email will go out at 11 AM EST if you want to be on the lookout for it...

Prevent Failure Easily

Sometimes it can feel pretty defeating to fail time and time again. But there are some things you can do to minimize these experiences.

Start by doing some prep work. I always look ahead and try to forecast any obstacles you might encounter so you can prevent them before they happen. You want to minimize risk, too.

Do some work on reflecting on your motives and plans before you start any project. If you're working from a place of desperation, it can sabotage your decision making process and you end up failing more than you succeed.

If you're the type who gets mentally down when a failure occurs, get "right back up on that horse" as we say here in Texas. Pick yourself up by the bootstraps and dust yourself off and get back to work. If you sit around sulking, the defeatist mindset will take root and it'll be hard to believe in yourself again.

If you're like me, you might even let everything go downhill when you experience failure in one area. That means your attitude is ugly, your diet goes out the window, and you can't behave properly for the life of you. Instead, let the other good behaviors influence your work mindset.

That's it for me today - hope y'all have a great rest of your day!

Tiff ;)
