7 Ways to Recession-Proof Your Business PLR; Do You Have Drive for Success?
Published: Tue, 10/05/21
I was talking and laughing with my son, Shawn when I was showing him some stuff about people who act like know-it-alls in our industry. He said "That's the Dunning-Kruger effect, Mom!" He then explained to me that it's a concept where someone learns a little something so their confidence soars, and as they get further along, they start to realize how much they DON'T know, so their confidence plummets. Then they either quit or slowly start building up their knowledge to a true greater level.
You can see how common this would be in online marketing. It's fun to watch, too. Actually, it happens in many areas of life, not just business!
By the way many of you emailed me asking about those compression boots yesterday so I made a blog post more in depth about both my experience and how it works. I also share one other gadget I'm using which really helps with circulation: http://tiffanylambert.com/blog/normatec-pulse-2-compression-massage-is-great-for-entrepreneurs
FYI: Tomorrow's email will go out at 9 AM EST if you want to be on the lookout for it...

Do You Have Drive for Success?
If you had asked me as a young adult if I was going to be an entrepreneur I'd have said NO WAY. It sounds (and is) intimidating. But knowing what I know now, I try to instill that drive in my kids. They're nervous of course - watching some friends head off to traditional paths like college, but I'm showing them the vast opportunities they have to succeed as their own boss. You might sometimes question whether or not you have it in you - or if you're insane for attempting this. Everyone can get started. It's the few who plow through obstacles that succeed.
You really have to look at your life and ask yourself if you're fine living the way it is now. Some people are cozy and good! I know people like this. No shame in it - they just aren't driven. If you ARE the driven kind who wants more, then that's a good sign.
Pretend you didn't succeed with this and had to do something else. What feelings would you experience? If regret is one of them, that's a good sign.
Sometimes, using fear to motivate you is a good thing. I've always been scared to be one of those people who had to panic about money. I saw family members do this (and friends) so I flat out won't let it happen. I'll work myself to exhaustion before I have to worry about finances.
Keep in mind that success to some isn't the same success as it is to others. Some people need an extra $500 a month. Some people need $500,000 a month. There is no set measurement. You do you.
That's it for me today - hope y'all have a great rest of your day!
Tiff ;)
