I just switched suitcases with my daughter. She's taking my large one specifically because she's trick or treating (everyone does) at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and I hear people bring back 3-5 pounds of candy. LOL! Here's How Your Fear Will Serve You Well
A friend and I were talking about launching your own products (she's launch a couple now) and she asked me if the fear ever subsides."No - not if you're lucky," I told her. That's because fear is what helps ensure you'll do your best.
When you're afraid of letting people down, you overdeliver. You work HARD to meet their needs. You strive to be the best and wow them with what you deliver.
It's when fear goes away that you become reckless, lazy and potentially deliver products that don't live up to expectations.
Having that smidgen of doubt in yourself can make you work hard. Now self doubt and fear DOES derail some peoples' entire careers, right? But that's ONLY because they don't know how to embrace it. Remember, I always say, "Do it afraid - courage will come later."
But really, you always want to worry a little bit - just enough to drive you to the finish line as a winner and a leader. So if you're waiting to feel fully confident, maybe rethink what fear is all about. It's a sign that you care about your customers. You care what they think, what their experience is, who they tell and so on.
Only scammers launch without a care in the world. Because their only concern is getting cash out of your wallet and into theirs.
You have ethics. Fear is on your side.
