I'll Bet My New PLR Is Relevant to Almost Everyone on My List (& More)!
Published: Thu, 11/07/19
The PLR I'm launching today is personal.
It's a concept that has dramatically improved my life and prevented years of future emotional pain and frustration. It's something I started doing slowly a few years ago, and then began doing more vigorously when I experienced the benefits of it. What is it?
--> Setting boundaries with people.
At first, I didn't realize you could set boundaries with some people - like a parent who caused a lot of stress in your life, for example. But then I learned how different - not only MY life, but that of my children would be if I set and STUCK to those boundaries. I'd been raised to just "deal with people" but guess what? You really don't have to! You can set a boundary and put the ball in their court while you enforce it.
Sometimes it's a small thing - a simple reminder of how you want to be treated. The person acknowledges it, implements it, and everyone's good. Other times it's a chaotic process - uncomfortable, heartbreaking - the other person pushes back and won't relinquish control, and then you have to make tough decisions.
But ultimately, if you design a life you want and don't let anything get in the way of that, you become free - of the stress others cause for you, of the financial burdens, of the demands on your time, energy, and more. And just about all of us have someone - a spouse, family member, friend, coworker, neighbor - even strangers - who they wish they knew how to set boundaries with.
Today's PLR is a lesson in who needs boundaries, who they need them from, and how to set fair ones and make them stick here:
