Today starts the "less than half days," which basically means I don't have enough time to drive back home after dropping my daughter off before she gets out so I have to wait and shop or something on that side of town for 2 hours. LOL! There's not a lot of time in between. But I love having her out early. Me? I'm working today! Got up early and trying to really rally before the end of the year.

I Love It When I Learn a Tip

I read a course by a guy named Loy Puckett this past Sunday and I picked up a great new tip to apply to my launches! It's rare that I learn anything eye opening strategy wise and this was a small, but potent tip. Most stuff seems rehashed in courses these days to me, mainly because I've taken so many. But in the "don't make this mistake" section of his course called Funnel Sleuth, I discovered a mistake I'd been making that was losing me sales!

I love when that happens.

Loy's guide teaches you about the slippery slope you put customers into when they first find you - and it's a strategic look at what to do (and what NOT to do). I found it to be a good read and I learned from it, too. It includes a 26-page PDF to read and one thing I liked about it is that it applies to all marketers, in ANY niche.

Attitude as an Entrepreneur

Attitude is everything. Even when life is throwing lemons at you and smacking you in the face with them, you can still choose to rise above it or do something with it. Or not.

People who are able to see the silver lining in every cloud - or at least fight back with enthusiasm, are able to cope better with life and in their career as an entrepreneur. I prefer going into fight mode, rather than kumbaya, but whatever works for you!

Choosing the right attitude will help you steamroll obstacles. If you have a negative attitude, make a decision that you're going to learn to improve it and turn yourself into a "can do" type of person. 

If you're already working on mindfulness, then that will help you with this endeavor. Just slowing down and thinking things through logically helps. Be able to recognize when your mind is just filling your head with all kinds of falsities. If it says you'll fail or no one will like your work, it's wrong. 

But only if you make it wrong. If you accept it and you're that weak that you don't want to try to push back, then this isn't the career for you.  It requires grit.
