Tomorrow school gets out before noon and then she's out for a couple of weeks (well, a little more). I can't wait to celebrate! It's so cozy here in the house, and all my babies (and their significant others) will be here for Christmas Eve and Christmas. So fun! Surrounded by the most important people in my world.

We will be on pins and needles hoping little Delilah acclimates well with the rest of the house. That would be so sad if she doesn't. I'd have to work on training her and that'll be exhausting, but I'll do it. I have her tested tomorrow to see if she's all clear of parasites. Oh - there's a cute story at the end of this email. Surprising Places You’re Using Copywriting (And You Probably Don’t Realize It)

When you hear the word “copywriting” do you immediately think of long sales pages, squeeze pages, and unwanted bulk mail?

Okay cute story alert - my son, Shawn, who works for me and is also going to college and writing a WWII fiction book, was thinking about his girlfriend of a year, who holds down 3 jobs to put herself through college and support herself. Her family lives 8 hours away. So while she was at work until 8 PM, and knowing she still had to study for finals after she got home, he snuck into her apartment (he has a key) and set up her table with roses, her favorite candy, fuzzy socks, a stress squishy cat (she loves cats), her favorite drink, and a candle. Oh, and a note telling her how proud he is of her working so hard. 

Now that's cute enough, right? But then he comes and tells me and I say, "How did y'all (he and my other son, who does similar stuff), learn to do that because I never had stuff like that done for me in my marriage?" He answered, "Yeah, but you always did stuff like for us. I'd come home, my room would be clean as a surprise, and you'd cook our favorite meal and have a little love note about how proud you were of us on our beds." 

Awwwwwwwwwww! Heart. Melt. I love my kids so much.
