It's Christmas break!! I am on top of the world. It's like a little mini summer break with no traffic, no alarm clocks - and I turn highly productive. Not to mention the season itself is just full of Christmas cheer and coziness. We're supposed to be able to let Delilah out soon! Crossing my fingers it goes okay. I'm having her retested today for parasites to ensure they're all gone but we won't know until tonight or tomorrow.

After her last final this morning, I'm taking my baby girl to use a gift card she got today at a fashion store and then taking her to lunch before we do the Christmas dinner shopping. And then I get to become a full-fledged hermit until January 7th when she goes back to school.  Oh! I listed some sweet ideas for loved ones at the bottom of this email, so check them out.

So here's what we have today:

David Perdew's deal for today only is his Endless Affiliate Profits product. This is a set of 20 mini blueprints where you not only get the steps in a chronologically ordered bullet list, but also the WHY behind each step, too. So you learn. That's SO important. Many courses or checklists just say "do this, do that," but you have no clue why or how it's helping you.

This will help you succeed not only by knowing what TO do, but also in avoiding the most common affiliate mistakes. He helps you learn how to take all the pro shortcuts and grow your affiliate business simply by following a set of proven and easy steps.

You can get it marked down from $47 to just $14.99 TODAY ONLY here:

There are a couple of other deals that are not just one day but maybe a couple more. If you're in the niches, they might be worth picking up. They are:

The Influential Leader PLR biz in a box by Aurelius Tjin for under $10 and Biohacking Secrets PLR by Cally Lee and YuShaun.

Over the Shoulder FREE Training By Some of the BEST!

When someone of this caliber offers truly free training, you jump on it. Justin Popovic and Ted Payne, along with Chad Fullerton, are conducting free training for people who want to learn how to take PLR and turn it into their own course. This is an "over the shoulder" training course so you're going to see all of the details in action!

If you've ever bought PLR, or even if you want to learn how to work with content that's your own, I highly suggest you take this. They're ALSO letting you download the templates they're using at no cost, too. This is a 5-step process they're teaching.

The Art of the Soft Sell: How to Get the Click Without (Really) Asking for It

We’ve all seen those old-style sales pages filled with yellow highlights and screaming red text and lots of “BUY NOW” buttons, and when we think of copywriting, that’s often what comes to mind. While that style of sales page can be effective, it’s not the only way to make sales.

In fact, by taking a more subtle approach, you might even find that you generate more interest—and potentially more sales.

Stories Sell

One effective way to entice readers to click through to your sales page is with stories. These can be your stories or those of other people, with the goal of helping your readers to see themselves in the same situation.

Did you help a customer turn her chaotic household into a calm oasis with better organizational skills? Her story on your sales page will get more clicks than all the yellow highlight you can buy.

What about that time you trashed your entire business plan and started over because you simply weren’t passionate about your work - and saw HUGE success? Your potential business coaching clients will be anxious to learn more, and will click through without you even asking.

That’s the power of stories, and you can use them everywhere: in your blog posts, in your emails, on your sales pages, and even in videos and on social media.

Be Genuinely Helpful

Want to build a reputation as the go-to person in your niche? All it takes is to help people. Answer questions on social media, volunteer to speak to groups who need your advice, write blog posts that address the most common issues your readers face.

By volunteering your time and knowledge, you’ll attract a wide audience of potential customers who may need your services in the future. Who will they turn to? That very helpful person who went out of her way to offer assistance in the past.

Now we’re not saying you have to give away all your time, because you CAN get taken advantage of, but if you really want to show off your expertise, you can’t do better than a little volunteer work. Not only will you make an impression with the person you help, but chances are good they’ll share with their friends as well, further expanding your audience.

Of course this doesn’t mean that there is no place in your business for a strong call to action. “Click here to buy” and “Learn more right now” are still useful (and even necessary) on sales and opt-in pages. The key is to know when to make a subtle offer, and when to offer a bit more hand holding.

Do Sweet Things

Several of you emailed me thanking me for the reminder of doing sweet things for your loved ones. I thought I'd give you some of my favorites that have always meant a lot to my kids just as an idea if you need them, and they're not just for kids - it's for your significant other, a friend, parents, etc.

#1 - Cleaning something for them. Kids, adults - we're all tired. Just tidying up and having a decluttered space (don't throw out anything important) is such a blessing to everyone. Especially if you do it while they're out and they come home tired, and ahhh - it's all nice. They get to relax!

#2 - Cook something for them. If they have a favorite that you cook, make it without telling them. Or maybe they love someone else's recipe - get it and make it for them. I like to print or cut a heart out and write something like "I love you" on it and put it on a toothpick and have it sticking out of the food - brownies or whatever.

#3 - Write a note about what you love about them. Doesn't have to be a card. Just a real letter saying, "I don't think I say this enough, but you..." and then go into every little thing they do that makes you love and appreciate them. Maybe it's the way they make you laugh with their stories and it breaks up the monotony or stress of your day. Or maybe it's how they always treat you with respect or show you love and you appreciate the kindness. Anything.

#4 - Do an impromptu day out with them. I call these mother-son/daughter days. Just a spur of the moment ALONE time with just that ONE person. Not the entire family. Just you and them. And be a LISTENER in this get together. Ask questions. Dig deeper than "how are you?" Think ahead of time of what all they've been involved in that you can discuss your admiration for and curiosity about. People love to feel worthy and special. I take my kids to a lunch with just the two of us. Sometimes I'll take them to buy something too. Used to be a toy, but now that they're older, it might be groceries or clothing "just because."

#5 - If you share social media, gush about them! I have to admit, I'm one who feels heartbroken whenever I see a mom or dad sharing something that puts their kid down. I know how that is, and it's painful, even when it's teasing or joking around with their friends. So I never do it with my kids. There's so much posted about "oops" or "THIS kid!" type of complaints or jokes and too few proud things. Make those posts. You don't have to tag them in it - that would defeat the purpose because then they'll be embarrassed - but you can just post something about how important they are, and how proud you are of them. When you take time to tell the world, that makes people feel pretty good!

If you see a pattern here, you're right. All of these things say, "Hey - I spent time focused on something just for you." Your entire world, in that moment, was them. Not all of us have had that from our parents. We grew up feeling like an inconvenience and it ends up painful in adulthood. So making people feel special and loved is so important. And it's a gift you can give that doesn't have to cost a lot - or anything for that matter.
