Cruel Email Subject, How to Find Aff Programs, Cool Tool for Marketers & Authors

Published: Thu, 01/09/20

I officially got my daughter signed up for driver's ed yesterday. My sons both said, "Mom, you need to stay calm when driving with her." I know this! I don't know if I'll be good at handling it, but I can't help it if I tense up and grab the handle above the door. It's just so scary. LOL! Still, I did it with my boys and I'm sure Scarlett will survive me, too. Luckily, the class she's in with do the heavy lifting of lessons - I get to do 30 hours of driving with her. I should say she has to do 30 hours with me. Poor kid.

The best part is, it's on the other side of town for 2 hours right after school every day, so I get to sit in the car and work during that time - there's not enough time to drive all the way back home. So at least I'll be productive!

Okay, here's what I have for you today:

Are You Either a Niche Marketer OR a Fiction Author? Cool Tool Tutorial

I got to test drive a neat tool (3 levels of ownership, so versatility depends on that) and as both a marketer AND an author, I saw plenty of uses for this in helping you attract subscribers/fans and generate a social buzz for your work.

I made a little tutorial showing it in action and detailing what the levels are:

Cruel Email Subject

I keep seeing people do something that kinda irks me. It's not anything that affects me personally, but I dislike it being done to others.

It's when marketers use a subject line along the lines of: "You just earned a commission!" but inside, the email tells them they didn't earn a commission - it's some corny promo for a product where they're basically, "Wouldn't it be great to see subjects like this rolling in?" or whatever.

I think that's truly cruel to do to people struggling and trying to learn how to make a living online. I can't imagine how many have put forth serious effort, and finally been ecstatic to see that subject in their inbox, only to be let down (often in desperate circumstances).

So please don't use that on your people if you're in the IM niche. Have some compassion for others.

How to Find Affiliate Programs

Sometimes you want something other than your typical Amazon, W+, JVZoo or ClickBank. Someone asked me how to go about finding other programs so I want to show you three other options - you'll find both big names and small companies listed here. Often, some really neat stuff not everyone knows about.

I made a little quick video tutorial showing you how:
