Yay! It's Friday - which means I get to sleep in tomorrow. This weekend is the post holiday, take down all decor weekend, so I won't be a slacker, just more energetic. The week when school resumes after break, I'm just a walking zombie. Scarlett stayed home today w/a fever but it worked out because the school is sending kids home early or allowing them to leave since we're expecting tornadoes soon.

One thing that always baffles me is that many marketers fail to buy PLR for their own use - meaning, to LEARN from. I do this! If I want to learn some IM strategy and there's PLR available for it, I'll buy a course - that way, not only do I learn it, but then I cal use the content to teach others.

Solution for Anonymity

After telling y'all about the creep who phoned my home, several of you (women) were concerned about putting yourselves out there. I understand. I'm not personally worried about that part - he just annoyed me and I don't like creepy people. 

But I have a solution that you can use and even pair with a pen name online that keeps them in the dark about who or where you are, even though you have to put an address in your emails:

Another Eyerolling Subject Line

So yesterday I was telling y'all about how sad it is to use the subject like "you just earned a commission."

But then some friends and I were talking and they mentioned another sneaky one that will get you some opens, but also annoy lots of people and get you unsubs as well.

It's when a marketer uses "Re:" in the subject line like "Re: Solution for Anonymity."

The reason people hate it is because the Re is reserved for when you reply to someone and they email you back. It lets you know this is something you replied to.

So if you have to be a sneaky marketer who can't get an open without making me think I was previously interested in something, that's pretty pathetic. 

Master Domaining and 5,001 Emails

Yesterday I posted lesson 24's review for Master Domaining on my blog, for those who are in it - and Gene left a really good tip in the comments! Also, you might check back on previous lessons periodically and read the comments because Gene has gone in and responded to people's questions and given added advice. Love it. 

I also did another video for the 5,001 Emails yesterday in the parenting/baby niche, so be sure to check for that.

For both of these, I'm going to try to get another one done today but we're expecting severe tornado weather, so not sure if I'll have the ability and have power. We'll see! :)
