I See How Y'all Are LOL, PLR Deals Today, and Fiction Branch

Got my rescue dogs' DNA results back! Mandy's was hilarious - the little reddish dog I got first. Both her parents were chihuahua, but both mixed, so she's half chihuahua and half hound/terrier mix. Must be where her deep voice bark comes from. Delilah (the little black and white one I got second) is 62% chihuahua, 13% mini pinscher and 25% mix of companion/Asian/guard type dogs - stuff like Keeshond, chow chow/husky, Great Dane. LOL! All that in that little tiny body.
Good to know - and neither had any health issues in their DNA, so hopefully I can just give them a good, long life full of love and happiness. By the way, people were asking what I used to test them and it was the Wisdom panel from Amazon. Give you their family tree, etc.

I See How Y'all Are LOL
In doing Matt's 5,001 emails implementation, I'm looking back on stats of my own emails and one thing is certain - the times I do negative subject lines, like "Don't buy this!" or "Ugly Confession," my open rate soars. (Don't worry, I'm probably the same - it's human nature). But there's a lesson in this - when you start seeing stats like this, you might be tempted to do more of it JUST to try to get the opens up. But don't be tempted! Instead, use it sparingly and naturally - because if you turn into someone who is always using negative headlines (or whatever your list responds to in spikes), it will diminish its effectiveness and you'll come off as phony.
Whatever trend your list reacts to most, just use it when it makes sense.
Foray Into Fiction
So I released chapter 2 yesterday and feedback overwhelmingly was that chapter 1 was so so but chapter 2 was really good. So I'm going to revamp chapter 1 later but last night I did move on and do a brief, light outline to see where the story might go. You can see chapter 2 here:http://forayintofiction.com/im-tearing-up-yall-and-its-good/
I really appreciate that my daughter helped me see a flaw in the story, too. So I'm fixing that. Having fun knowing this is just a short story I'm messing around with. I'll eventually publish it once I have it all right, but it's nice to have the "gotta write a novel in 30 days" pressure off my back and just focus on learning and improving.
Okay I'm off to get the back to school stuff ready for tomorrow and organize my work. Tomorrow I'll be adding more 5,001 emails examples and domain mastery, etc. Watch for those!
Tiff :)
