Improve Engagement Tips, Pen Names for Business Or Fiction, & Today's Deals
Published: Sat, 01/18/20
We had a great evening last night. After Scarlett got her permit, we went shopping and then I let her take her first attempt at driving. We're going out again today to find a big, empty parking lot. I cooked the manicotti and garlic knots with salad and it was amazing. I then just relaxed. We needed it. Grueling schedule with driver's ed and being in the car for 4-4.5 hours a day. It was really sweet because while we were gone, my son Shawn did Scarlett's chores for her AND the dishes for me. He's amazing.
Today I'm getting organized for lots of work coming up this week. But I wanted to share this with you:

Also, Cally Lee and Yu Shaun have a new bundle called Wired for Greatness that's good, but quick note: I noticed just one tiny bit of awkward reading with the word Full in it. Should be fullest, like "to your fullest potential." But other than that it was solid so switch that and you're good to go. Check it out here for under $10 - for the entire biz in a box bundle:

Pen Names for Business or Fiction
Whether you're an online marketer or a fiction author, you might be considering using a pen name for a certain project or branch/genre. Someone asked me how to choose. So I have some tips here about what to consider:https://vimeo.com/385615386
3 Ways to Improve Engagement and Sharing
Some people on FB have GREAT engagement, while you’re lucky to have 2 shares and a comment. It’s actually easy to get people responding to your stuff if you adhere to 3 simple tips:Catch Their Eye with Images
It can be a simple picture, a funny meme, an infographic – whatever, but images are attention grabbing whereas text alone isn’t.
Personally, I love using Gifs myself. They crack me up as a reader AND I love using them to convey moods or thoughts as a publisher of posts.
Dig Deep for the Gold
If you’re writing a post, don’t be generic about it. Instead of making a post just about affiliate marketing, for example, dig deeper and deeper until you have a post about one really narrow, neat tip – something not plastered everywhere by everyone.
Be You – Weed Out People
Stop trying to be likable by everyone. Be yourself. Whether it’s funny or over the top or just an average Jane or Joe – weed out your non audience so that you’re left with rabid fans who can relate to you.
With billions of people on this planet, there are bound to be more of you. If you’re trying too hard to be part of a group of people who can’t relate to you, they’re not going to be sharing your posts because they don’t relate to what you’re saying.
Okay I'm off to become a driver's ed instructor. Eek!
Tiff :)
