It's so rainy here today! And although I love rain, the lighting in my living room (where I work) stinks, so it puts a strain on my eyes. I foresee a lot of handwriting on a legal pad today. Today is the day Scarlett takes her permit test (I think) and then I start letting her practice with me. Eek! It's terrifying teaching kids how to drive. But I'll survive.

Foray Into Fiction

I took a break and wrote in a different genre yesterday - in a 2,500 word short story challenge to myself. It was a story about a woman who has just been rescued from a kidnapping a decade later. It enjoyed it so much, and while I didn't have time to put in a lot of depth or description, it still made some friends of mine say they cried, loved it, etc. So I was happy. I might choose the suspense road. Check it out here - I wrote the 6 page story in one hour:

Okay that's it for me today - I'll be working on domaining and emails later. It's a BUSY today today because I have to go to Verizon for my business account, which will probably take hours, then driver's ed for my daughter, driving, etc. Lots of car time.

Tiff ;)
