Social Media Content, Aff Biz Plan Part 6 and More!

Published: Thu, 03/05/20

It's the LAST day of my detox - woot! Can't believe I went the full time (4 days of weaning myself off everything and 14 days of strict detox). It's been good for me. But I am also ready to have some more flavor to my foods. And variety. I feel like I've been robotic and running on autopilot for about 20 days. Very low key with interaction, etc. Took a lot of rest to do this.

It's beautiful here in North Texas and I'm really grateful for all the rain because it will have loosened up the soil for my gardening this coming weekend and Spring Break week. Scarlett's going to help me with it.

So here's what I have for you today:

Social Media Content

For the 5-day sale, you can pay just $1 for the first 30 days, then $11.97 per month after that and stay as long as you'd like. Each conversation starter is a thought-provoking question, designed to get your followers to reflect on themselves and ultimately take action.

Creating an Affiliate Marketing Business Plan - Part 6

We're continuing on with part 6 of the plan to start an affiliate marketing business. The sixth step is to:

Build a List for Repeat Affiliate Commissions

Why do affiliates need to build a list? You don't necessarily. In some niches, like toys, I don't even bother. But for other niches, where an info product or digital product is a possibility, that means you can cater to them with ongoing information, tips and how-tos.

That's beneficial because then you're not constantly trying to attract a new visitor to your site. You have access to contact them.

What should you offer them in exchange for a sign up to your list? I usually do a report, but it doesn't have to be that. You can also do something like a step-by-step series on how to do something, A series of reviews of the best of something, a checklist they can download, and so on.

What you don't want to do is just say "sign up for notifications." That's not a strong incentive.

Which tools should you use? I personally love Aweber. But some people use GetResponse or even MailChimp (for those who need free starting off). It's worth it to start off somewhere that you know you won't have to leave later when your list grows. Sounds like a pain to me.
