My New Lawn and Garden PLR (Great Dual Profit Niche) & More!
Published: Fri, 03/13/20
We're supposed to find out tonight or tomorrow if school is reopening for my daughter. I tried mowing my yard yesterday but we only got the backyard and most of the front done before my battery ran out and I had to charge it while the sun was setting. Hopefully it won't grow too much during all this expected rain.
So here's what I have for you today:

Why is it such a lucrative dual profit niche?
I'm a consumer for both of these niches, and combined it's a powerhouse of commissions. I buy almost everything online for my needs for both lawn and garden - small tools, fertilizer, large tools like lawn mowers and tillers, you name it.
Just this year I bought a new tiller, garden tools, seeds, and more. Last year I got a new cordless mower, string trimmer, new hose, etc. Every time I learn something or realize I need something, it's so easy to have it delivered straight to my door!
There are all kinds of affiliate programs you can promote, not just Amazon. Check out this guy's list of some of them:
https://onemorecupof-coffee.com/best-home-garden-affiliate-programs/
There are a ton of lawn and garden info products on ClickBank, too. So you can merge the promotion of both digital and tangible items for this niche.
Lawn and garden are both topics that many of us need step-by-step guidance with. I have NO clue how to handle things on my own, even after years of gardening as a kid with my dad. I rely on bloggers and YouTube videos and courses/books to walk me through it all - teach me what hilling is, when growing watermelons or tell me just how big that watermelon patch is going to get so I don't cram a bunch of vegetables right next to it.
And if you think it's just a Spring and Summer topic, then think again. There's a LOT that has to be done to prepare and care for your lawn and garden during fall and winter months, too.
You can target a broad base - homeowners, apartment dwellers, people with St. Augustine grass, people with Bermuda grass, people who want to grow vegetables in containers, those who want to do tower gardening, and more.
It's an evergreen niche perfect for topic pairing like health (grow your own nutritious food), anti aging, hobbies, fitness, stress relief and more!

How to Get Approved as an Affiliate
I also wanted to give tips today on how to get approved as an affiliate in general - whether it's by another marketer or a big site like Amazon. The main thing I recommend is to have a site build. Especially if it's for a big company. They want to see that you're established with good content, not some empty WordPress installation sitting there. Because then they don't know what lengths you'll go to in order to make sales, and they're suspicious.
Don't do ALL PLR, either. Have some original content with your personality and voice in there, too.
If you're applying for approval on a digital product, the worst thing you can do is say "I'm a student of..." because 9 times out of 10, everyone's been told to do that and most other marketers don't like those people. It's a surefire way to get declined.
Just be yourself, introduce yourself and if you get declined, reach out to the marketers or company to open up a dialogue so they can see you're truly interested and determined to succeed.
Okay that's it for me today - have a great rest of your day!
Tiff ;)
