New Work-Life PLR, Finding Topics for Blogs and More!

Published: Sat, 03/21/20

Well week one of virtual school is in the books. Went pretty well! Shawn starts his this coming week. He took Scarlett on a walk today and I started my garden indoors. I'll transplant them in a couple of weeks but I started some Rio Grande Tomatoes, Buttercrunch Lettuce, and Jubilee Sweet Watermelons. I'll also be planting more stuff directly into the ground - Brussels Sprouts, Collard Greens, Sugar Snap Peas, Potatoes, Garlic, Onions, and more.

I watched A Quiet Place Friday night. I can't see that actor as anyone other than Jim from The Office. It was creepy and good. I better not watch too many scary shows because I tend to freak myself out. LOL Might want to stick to comedies right now. So here's what I have for you today:

Finding Topics for Your Blog Content

Some people have a good idea for a blog slant in general, but then they get paralyzed when it comes to figuring out individual blog POST topics.

There are several ways you can find good ideas:

#1 - Conduct keyword research tools (use free or paid versions to get a wide variety of options.)
#2 - Do a little niche forum spying (what is your audience asking or saying in forums? Pick out threads with good engagement!)
#3 - Go to news sites - they typically have sections such as health, technology, etc. You'll be able to see what's trending.
#4 - Consider allowing some guest bloggers to come to your blog and write about topics they're experts in.
#5 - Use curated content - and make sure you understand the difference between curated, where you're taking snippets and referencing the original author, with links, etc., and downright plagiarism, which is theft.
#6 - Use multi media to see what's news. Go to YouTube, Pinterest, even Google images to see what's being talked about in your niche.

Okay that's it for me - y'all have a good rest of your week and stay safe!

Tiff ;)
