Adding Multimedia to Your Blog, Brainstorm for Last Day!
Published: Mon, 03/23/20
Yesterday I asked what y'all needed right now - normalcy or a lot of talk about the global situation (to comfort you like so many marketers are doing). You UNANIMOUSLY told me you actually go to emails to ESCAPE the news and social media and get some normalcy so that's what my plan is as of today and onward - it's my preference, too.
Just didn't want y'all to think I was callous or anything, but there's something to be said for pausing the chaos and hunkering down to work. That's what I'm doing. I have a PLR launch coming up and I'm working on brainstorming my next Newbie Niche Overview topic.
I'll probably be doing more videos, too. Here and there. Y'all just have to put up with my nose twitch. LOL!
Here's what I have for you today:
Last Day for Natural Remedies - and a Little Brainstorm
James Brown and Chad Eljisir's Natural Remedies PLR bundle is on its last day of the launch. It includes:- The complete Natural Remedies Secrets guide
- A lead magnet report
- 7 articles for content marketing
- A follow up email sequence ... and more
My personal tip would be to build a broad site. So I'd get an available domain like: AtHomeHealthTips.com or something (grab it if you want it) and then I'd start making a list of all the health issues people might want to treat themselves. Be careful not to go off the deep end and start recommending dangerous things or telling people to avoid doctors. Your goal is to give options for more minor things or supplementary things.
For example, when my stepdad had cancer, we would never have looked for at home cancer treatment advice but there were tips for side effects of what he was going through that would be helpful, such as appetite or pain, etc. Just be cautious and use common sense.
I would categorize your site not by treatment, like "Elderberry" for instance, but by health issue, like Fibroids or whatever. That way, when someone lands, they can find their health concern and follow the navigation to your content about it.
Also remember that EACH blog post serves a a separate doorway entrance to your site. So when you sit down to write a blog post, don't be thinking about the rest of your blog. Assume that person has never seen it, has no idea what your entire site is about or anything - ALL they know is what they read in THAT blog post title, saw THAT blog post URL, and read THAT exact content.
A lot of times I see people mistakenly write as if the visitor already knew what else their site consisted of. Treat each post as an individual entity, like a little mini site if you will. Anyway, check out their bundle - it should give you lots of ideas too about how to build a site or even branch an existing site that's related to this topic, out to fit this one as well:

Adding Multimedia to Your Blog
Text is the basis for your blog content. It's often the best media format because people like to read at their own pace. But these day, more people like a little variety, so when and where you can, go ahead and add some multimedia - carefully.Add images for share-ability and to break up long text. When you put images in the blog, it helps it get recognized in a stream of social media whenever someone shares it. Where to get images? Try free sites like Pixabay or Morguefile.com or paid sites like iStockPhoto or DepositPhotos.
Don't forget video, too. Video blogging lets people get a chance to know you better. It builds a connection that text just can't do. Don't worry about being perfect or beautiful. All you need to do is share good content and people will appreciate that.
And audio files will upload to a blog, too! Your blog doesn't ONLY have to be text and video. People can stream the audio file and listen while on your blog. So if you have a podcast or anything, be sure to embed episodes into your blog post, too.
Okay that's it for today! Y'all keep being productive and check in whenever you need me for something.
Tiff ;)
