Ways to Monetize Your Blog, Affiliate Comparison Tool!
Published: Tue, 03/24/20
Someone asked me to send a cute video of my rescue dogs so I tried to make one but every time I pick up my phone, they stop doing whatever cute thing they were doing and run over to me. I put the windows down in my car yesterday, turned the music up and drove to my son's to do a "drive through" chicken and dumplings drop off. LOL! Felt good getting out of the house and seeing the beautiful Texas Bluebonnets blooming all along the highway.
I had to get up super early this morning for a grocery pick up (and a delivery - separate things from separate stores). I think I'm getting spoiled by Scarlett's new at home schedule where I don't have to wake up for carpool. I asked her how she's liking it and she said it's MUCH better than normal hours - she feels more in control of her life and day.
So here's what I have for you today:
Affiliate Comparison Plugin
I always love Kurt Chrislar's plugins because they're so easy, make your blog look better and help with a visitor's experience when you have an affiliate blog.He has a tool out now called AffiliCopmare.
Just go watch the demo - I love what this thing can do - he was adding features right up until the end and his stuff is always good in terms of functionality:

I've always found his plugins very easy to use, too - and I'm a BIG tech dummy, so that's saying a lot.
Ways to Monetize Your Blog
You wouldn't believe how many marketers have asked for help in monetizing their blog and I go visit and see zero monetization options there. I'm not sure how they expected it to take in money, with nothing to sell or promote (not even any ads), but it's something many people just fail to properly plan for. Most people think ads are the best way, but they may be dragging down your earning potential by delivering clickouts instead of real earnings (pennies on the dollar instead of large amounts of commissions and sales).
You can start doing product reviews as blog posts (things you bought or got a review copy of). These will result in affiliate commissions as long as you build a reputation for reviewing quality products and not just scamming your readers.
You can utilize proper ad space on your blog - banner ads for ClickBank or Amazon products in the sidebar and under the header - it pays more than just clicks.
Take a look at your blog from a visitor's perspective and ask yourself what opportunities there are for them to spend money with you. You might be surprised to see you're not maximizing its potential.
By the way - I'm almost done with my immune system evergreen PLR bundle. Should be another day or two before I launch. Stay tuned for that - it fits in nicely with all kinds of niches (health, nutrition, sleep, vices, parenting, anti aging, you name it).
Okay that's it for today! Have a great rest of your day!
Tiff ;)
