Today is the first day of "home classes" for my daughter. It's going to be unusual, but I'm glad she's self sufficient and driven (unlike how I was as a teen). I have a feeling some kids are going to falter when it comes to having the discipline to get their work done on their own. Hopefully, they'll be supported adequately.

They were told to sign in dressed appropriately (class can see/hear them), stay away from family who may have inappropriate discussions nearby, and not take their laptop to the bathroom with them. LOL SO weird having new rules but it has to be said for some.

Select a Good Niche Topic for Your Blog

Have you ever needed help on picking a good topic for your blog? There are SO many options, right? It can be both a blessing and a curse - overwhelming to say the least.

Make sure it's something you have a genuine interest in - don't just choose a topic because other gurus say it's a good one. Sure, you want to make sure it's a profitable niche and all that, but you will be working on this for a long time and you want to be interested in it so you don't dread it.

Make sure it's something that has plenty of profit potential in it - both in terms of digital and tangible products. Do people only buy tangible products (like the toy niche)? Or do they buy info product too? Like the fitness niche where they need how to courses and tangible items.

It should be something you won't mind blogging about regularly - something you feel passionate about and you won't get bored with. Boredom is awful when you're trying to build a business and you think the topic is a snooze. And your content will show it when you lack enthusiasm.
