Meaningful Marketing Phrase, & Business Overwhelm PLR

Published: Fri, 03/27/20

It's almost hard to tell my days of the week now. At least when Scarlett was going to school, I knew what Monday-Friday were because I had to drive there. Now she gets herself up, attends virtual class, and man - she puts me to shame. Yesterday she had all her work done, had cleaned her room, done yoga and was relaxing by the time I got settled with my coffee.

I put in an order for Instacart last night to deliver things tomorrow. I want to make my son some of his favorites so I can drop them off. He loves chicken and brown gravy and I'm going to make a batch of brownies, too. Not sure if I'll get any of it in my order, but I'm going to try!

Okay here's what I have for you today:

Meaningful Marketing Phrase

My mentor, Craig Desorcy, a man I admire deeply for his ethics and insight, has always told me one thing in terms of building my business: "Show up to serve."

When you approach marketing from a place of desperation or deceit, you're always going to end up a failure. You might have temporary success, but it'll eventually crumble as the truth comes out.

Showing up to serve is something we're seeing a lot of right now in communities all over the world. And it should be no different in your business world all of the time.

Take precautions to safeguard yourself from scammers who want to use your kindness and generosity, but be there for your subscribers and readers and help them along their journey.

Help comes in many different ways. Service to them isn't always a hand out. Sometimes it's a butt kick. Sometimes it's tough love or strict measures to force them to stand on their own two feet.

When you're thinking of building your business right now, especially if you haven't settled on a niche of your own yet, think about that phrase and how you can show up to serve others, whether it's with basic insight, camaraderie, or products you create or recommend. Bring something to the table so you're not just a taker. Be a giver, too.

Okay that's it for today - enjoy your weekend coming up!

Tiff ;)
